About the Theatre

Founded in 2020, Ronin Theatre Collaborative focuses on storytelling and adding a unique voice to the valley through rarely-done or premier plays. Ronin Theatre Collaborative is a traveling theatre company who uses site specific and guerilla style theatre tactics to share stories both timeless and of the moment. With an emphasis on the development of new works while also leaning on the foundations established by classic theatre, Ronin looks to push the envelope on the how, what, and immediacy of what a theatrical experience can be. Whether it is cultivating the voice of an unproduced playwright finding their foothold in the world or breaking apart the foundations of a classical work to uncover a timeless resonance, Ronin does not settle for works that are mere entertainment. Our plays are character driven, emotional, and engaged in styles not commonly demonstrated in the Greater Phoenix area. Each production for Ronin is a chance to sharpen our skills and make the greatest cultural experience possible for our artists and our audiences.

Review: OUTSIDE MULLINGAR at Theatre Artists Studio

by Herbert Paine - May 18, 2026
