Cast and Creative Team for MEGALODON at Ronin Theatre Collaborative

Cast

T.D. Lang
Vogan
T.D. Lang (Vogan) or “Tim” is incredibly excited and grateful to be returning to theater with Ronin in Megalodon. He earned a BA in theater from Whittier College in 2011. After getting his degree, he spent seven years living the exciting and dangerous life of a pizzaboy on the streets of Hollywood. During his time in LA, he dabbled in standup, improv, children’s theater, DIY filmmaking, and clinical psychology. Eventually he became a screenwriter and penned the genre-bending indie movie Rocky’s Galaxy (where he also appears as Corey) for Endless Mile Studios; it’s currently available for purchase on Amazon Prime and AppleTV… and also streaming on Tubi. He would like to thank his dear friend, Cody Goulder for finally convincing him to move to Arizona… so far, it’s been wonderful!
Lily Norton
Cass
Lily Norton (Cass) is excited to be returning to Ronin for what is, sincerely, the wildest and most exciting show she has ever encountered. When she's not playing gold-digging villains, Athenian revolutionaries, or confused girlfriends, you can usually find Lily entertaining little ones in a ballgown. Thank you for sharing this evening with us, and hold on tight. Seriously.
Joseph Lake Guffey
Chandler
Joseph Lake Guffey (Chandler) is ecstatic to work with Ronin Theater Co. again. Joe's recent theatre work includes, Prospero in The Tempest (Starlight Memorial Park), East in Almost, Maine (B3 Theater), and Torvald Helmer in A Doll’s House (Ronin Theater Co.) He has starred in several films including D.O.D., Monsoon, and Run For Your Life. Joe is a prolific writer who has written 12 screenplays with his brother Jay (older, way less physical strength) and is a professional editor and post-production specialist who has been working in film and video for his entire career. In college, Joe was an eight time national finalist and National Champion competing for ASU's Speech and Debate team. Joe also owns a pet pig named Omar. He is awesome. Thank you KB for always giving me space to daydream and time to work. Shoutout to my family for the endless support.
Alex Frost
Hannah
Alex Frost (Hannah) is debuting her first play with Ronin Theater Co.!! Recent roles include Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest (Mesa Encore Theater), White Witch in The Chronicles of Narnia (Places! Production), and Prentiss in Peter and the Starcatcher (Mesa Encore Theater). In addition to working at Childsplay Theater as a Resident Teaching Artist focusing on bringing drama to storytime with young audiences, she also directs and techs around the city for youth theater. She would like to thank her family, friends, partner, and their four cats for their support. <3
Marcella Grassa
Kim
Marcella Grassa is thrilled to be returning to the Ronin stage. You may have seen her in last season’s production of The Haunted Castle: The Rot Beneath. Some of her other credits include Peppermint Beehive, Occupational Hazards, Selena and Judy Go Dancing, and Orange Skies with Space 55 Theatre. In her free time she enjoys dancing, yoga, cooking and reading tarot cards. She's super grateful to BJ and Cody for the opportunity to bring this amazing story to life.
Marc Anthony White
Garrett
Greetings world! My name is Marc Anthony White and I’m a Phoenix AZ native born and raised, I love the outdoors and staying active, whether I’m riding my board or chasing my kids. I’ve always been into self expression from an early age; writing and learning how to rhyme and create raps, and drawing were some of the first experiences I had with learning about finding my inner creativity. I grew up in an artistic environment, my father was an actor from the New York theater scene, and my mother an aspiring writer. From the cinema to music, all the inspiration needed was there, and now I’m continuing to chase my dreams of showcasing my self expression through the theater.
E.C. Darling-Bond
Shelby
E.C. Darling-Bond (Shelby) is delighted to return to the Ronin stage for this awesome show! In addition to being the marketing director for Ronin, EC has worked as a playwright and actor in the valley for over a decade now. Most recently he was seen on stage as Paul in B3’s “The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals.” E.C. is thankful for the cast and tech team for their brilliance, time, and dedication in bringing this show to life. Lastly, E.C. is eternally grateful to his wife, Grace, and family for their never ending support. Baruch atah, Adonai Eloheinu, Melech haolam, shehecheyanu, v'kiy'manu, v'higiyanu laz'man hazeh.

Ronin Theatre Collaborative
1106 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona, 85004, Phoenix, AZ
Founded in 2020, Ronin Theatre Collaborative focuses on storytelling and adding a unique voice to the valley through rarely-done or premier plays. Ronin Theatre Collaborative is a traveling theatre company who uses site specific and guerilla style theatre tactics to share stories both timeless and of the moment. With an emphasis on the development of new works while also leaning on the foundations established by classic theatre, Ronin looks to push the envelope on the how, what, and immediacy of what a theatrical experience can be. Whether it is cultivating the voice of an unproduced playwright finding their foothold in the world or breaking apart the foundations of a classical work to uncover a timeless resonance, Ronin does not settle for works that are mere entertainment. Our plays are character driven, emotional, and engaged in styles not commonly demonstrated in the Greater Phoenix area. Each production for Ronin is a chance to sharpen our skills and make the greatest cultural experience possible for our artists and our audiences.
