Plague Play written by Erin Proctor is an intimate piece focused on the plagues of Egypt cast by God onto the Pharaoh and his subjects as punishment for the enslavement of the Hebrew people in the Book of Exodus. However, instead of watching the plagues outright, we follow their effects on the people it protects and how it torments them physically, psychologically, and spiritually.
This is a play about a family waiting for the light to finally shine through the darkness, while not realizing they are part of the group that turned off the lights.
