Ballet Arizona Announces Groundbreaking World Premiere Production

Ballet Arizona revealed today it will present The Firebird, a groundbreaking, dramatic new work from Artistic Director Ib Andersen for the anticipated upcoming 2018-2019 season. The Firebird promises to set the season afire with Andersen's compelling original choreography, stunning new costumes, and multi-media enhanced sets. The Phoenix Symphony will provide the Igor Stravinsky score, February 2019, at Symphony Hall.

THE FANTASTICKS, best known for being the world's longest running musical, will open this week at the Winding Road Theater Ensemble! With Music by Harvey Schmidt, and a Book and Lyrics by Tom Jones, THE FANTASTICKS opened Off-Broadway in 1960 and ran for a record breaking forty-two years, closing in 2002. It was then revived again Off-Broadway in 2006, where it ran for another 11 years, closing in 2017.
