September 18th-21st
Randall Theater – 2020 N. 13th St, Philadelphia, PA
A decade before women could vote, an all-female team of “computers,” lead by Henrietta Leavitt, were changing the study of astronomy. This true story of the 19th-century astronomer explores a woman’s place in society during a time of immense scientific and heart-bound discoveries. Merging music and math, Henrietta and her female peers change the way we understand the heavens and the Earth.
