Maestro Louis Scaglione, President and Music Director of Philadelphia Youth Orchestra Music Institute (PYOMI), has announced the launch of the Philadelphia Youth Jazz Orchestra (PYJO), a new program division of the Institute.
The Young Musicians Debut Orchestra, one of the many ensembles of Philadelphia Youth Orchestra Music Institute, kicks off 2022 with a concert on Saturday, January 22 at 4:00 p.m. at The Temple Performing Arts Center, located at 1837 N. Broad Street in Philadelphia.
A Philadelphia Freedom Celebration, presented by Anthem, was held on June 30, starring Billie Jean King, Members of the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Philadelphia Freedoms.
