Lakecia Benjamin is a six-time GRAMMY nominated New York-based saxophonist, arranger, composer, and educator whose music blends R&B, jazz, and funk. She honed her craft with Clark Terry and Terri Lyne Carrington and has served as accompanist for vocalists including Gregory Porter. Her 2023 album Phoenix, produced by Carrington, received three GRAMMY nominations and universal praise.
