Eurydice at Studio at DreamWrights

DreamWrights Center for Community Arts presents Eurydice, written by Pulitzer Prize finalist and MacArthur Fellow Sarah Ruhl, running April 24 through May 2, 2026 in the Studio at DreamWrights. When Eurydice dies on her wedding day and descends into the underworld, she finds a place that is strange and disorienting in the way grief actually is — where the rules keep shifting and the people you love become harder to hold onto. The play, directed by Anja Homberger, is funny and heartbreaking in equal measure, asking what it means to be remembered by someone who refuses to let you go. The cast features Nala Yates as Eurydice, Anshel Drayton as Orpheus, and Chris Drinkut as the Father, among others.
