Assassins at The Greer Cabaret Theater

Rogue Artists Theatre of Pittsburgh & Doctuh Mistuh Productions is pleased to present Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman’s Assassins. Hailed by theatre enthusiasts and critics as a “near perfect piece of musical theatre,” Assassins takes on a dark exploration of the American Dream through the psyches of nine men and women who attempted (and succeeded) to kill the President of the United States.

With a brilliant score by the iconic Stephen Sondheim and book by John Weidman, the show has been regarded as a "near perfect work of musical theatre." Assassins features the talents of local favorites Allan Snyder as John Wilkes Booth, Alex Noble as Sam Byck and Zanny Laird as Sara Jane Moore, and introduce Pittsburgh to a new crop of talent from across the U.S. making their Pittsburgh stage debuts.

Award-winning director Michael McKelvey will be collaborating with designers Andy Ostrowski (lighting), Sydney DeHahn (costume and set) and Ben Brosche (Conductor).
