On the heels of a nationwide headlining run that included sold-out NYC and LA shows, the inimitable Foxy Shazam will be spending their summer on the road with Hole. The month-long tour kicks off June 22nd in Philadephia, PA, and runs through July 16th in Minneapolis, MN. Foxy Shazam's self-titled major label debut is out now on Sire Records.

Critical praise for Foxy Shazam has been effusive. Their songs "glitter like diamonds and kick like mules" said SPIN magazine, which named the band one of 10 Artists to Watch in 2010 in their December/January issue. The Houston Press called Foxy a "glam-pop face melter," American Songwriter praised their "soulful, groove-laden punk," and Alternative Press gushed "(Foxy Shazam) incorporate '70s soul, '50s rock 'n' roll, '80s pop, Broadway torch songs and even a little Blood Brothers-esque post-hardcore into their piano-driven tunes-and frankly, their major-label debut is magnificent." MTV Buzzworthy recently selected them as a Buzz On artist, and their debut single "Unstoppable" was chosen to play during this year's Superbowl.

Citing influences as varied as Marvin Gaye, Elton John and "Born To Run"-era Bruce Springsteen, Foxy Shazam has been creating unique, genre-defying music since they formed in 2004. From the anthemic "Unstoppable" to doo wop power ballad "Bye Bye Symphony" and the swooning "Connect Me," Foxy Shazam is an amalgam of blues, soul, and brash pop bound by a no holds barred punk-rock aesthetic.
