This family drama tackles head-on the fragility of the human body and the impacts of the great game on our players, our family, and our community.
Donnybrook Football Club is set to honour its greatest son – Doug Williams.
Hard as flint. Salt of the earth.
Wife, Delveen, by his side, riding every bump with him. Feeling every head knock.
All the kids are flying home to join the celebration.
But after years of the game he loves, the sure hands of Williams are starting to fumble the ball.

March 03, 2022Black Swan State Theatre Company has announced that the upcoming season of Barracking for the Umpire by Andrea Gibbs has been postponed. This has been a difficult decision made in light of the increased COVID restrictions that apply to theatres, as well as WA's ever-growing COVID infections and associated risks.
