Broadway Sessions went wild with the cast of Desperate Measures! Cast members Lauren Molina (Bella), Gary Maracheck (Father Morse), Sarah Parnicky (Sister Mary Jo), Nick Wyman (Governor), William Thomas Evans, Bryant Martin, and CJ Eldred joined us for a hootenanny of a night and hilarity ensued. We also welcomed incredible rising stars Marcus Jordan and Kyle Jurassic!

Broadway in Bryan Park continued its 2015 program on Thursday - and BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the first day. This week's line-up included performances from the casts of MATILDA, LES MISERABLES, THE FANTASTICKS, ON THE TOWN and HAPPY 50ISH. The HIV Equal campaign officially launches at the World Health Clinicians' wellness event on October 26th and includes an exhibition of the first set of photographs featuring Broadway star Nick Adams ('La Cage Aux Folles,' 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert'), Congressman Jim Himes, AIDS and gay rights activist Peter Staley, Tony Award winning actor/singer Billy Porter ('Kinky Boots'), and drag superstar Bianca Del Rio, among many others. The Kitchen Theatre Company's Dance the Night Away party on March 23, 2013 was the most successful fund raising event in the theater's history. A total of $48,000 was raised through ticket sales, corporate sponsorship and individual sponsorships of 'celebrity dancers.' The John W. Engeman Theater presents Hairspray, the first show of their 5th Season. Playing now through August 28, 2011. Hairspray is based on the film written and directed by John Waters, music and lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman and book by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan.
