Tonight marks the first official opening night at the iconic London Palladium since the UK most recently went into lockdown last December. The dance extravaganza known as Here Come The Boys features a handful of stars from the BBC's smash hit series Strictly Come Dancing, so we sent our very own @WestEndReporter Tom Hayden Millward quick-stepping it down to the Palladium to get the full lowdown.

Waves of good and bad news washed over tonight's 'So You Think You Can Dance' as host Cat Deeley and the show basked in the glow of the eight Emmy nominations that were announced earlier today. However, there were several gray clouds hovering about as two more dancers were sent home and, for the first time this season, the eliminated dancers were not part of the same pair. Another bit of sad news came when Judge/Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe announced early in the show that Season 7 fan favorite Alex Wong, who had to step out of competition last year due to a tendon injury on his right foot, suffered another tendon injury (this time on his left foot) this past weekend and would not be able to return to the show as an All-Star next week.

On the heels of a highly successful Broadway run, the electrifying Latin and ballroom dance spectacular BURN THE FLOOR plays the Pantages Theatre for a strictly-limited 2 week engagement, which began April 26. The show will run through May 8, 2011. The Los Angeles engagement features So You Think You Can Dance alumni Anya Garnis, Pasha Kovalev, Robbie Kmetoni, Janette Manrara, and Karen Hauer. Also featured is Vonzell Solomon, second runner-up in Season Four of American Idol, who is BURN THE FLOOR's female vocalist. BURN THE FLOOR is coming to SAN DIEGO CIVIC THEATRE in a Broadway/San Diego ~ A Nederlander Presentation, OCTOBER 12 - 17 only; direct from Broadway and London. The tour features 'So You Think You Can Dance' alums Anya Garnis, Pasha Kovalev, Ashleigh Di Lello, Ryan Di Lello, Robbie Kmetoni, Janette Manrara and Karen Hauer. All seven have been seen on TV's 'So You Think You Can Dance,' in the US (Anya & Pasha, Top 10 Finalists and Season 7 All Stars; Ashleigh & Ryan Di Lello, Janette Manrara and Karen Hauer, Top 10 Finalists) and Australia (Robbie Kmetoni, 2010 Winner). Also featured is Vonzell Solomon as the show's female vocalist. Vonzell was the second runner-up in the 4th season of 'American Idol.' San Diego's own Mary Murphy, guest judge on 'So You Think You Can Dance' will appear as a guest star the San Jose and San Diego engagements of the Tour, partnered with ballroom champion Vaidas Skimelis. Percussionist Joseph Malone is also a San Diego native.
