Last night, Girl From The North Country hosted a special performance and gala to celebrate their third time opening on Broadway, as well as their seven Tony Award nominations, including “Best New Musical.” 

The Broadway cast of Girl From The North Country recently celebrated their 2022 Grammy nomination for Best Musical Theater Album and the holiday season with 1067LiteFM's Christine Nagy. The cast got together to spread some holiday cheer with an outdoor performance of 'Winter Wonderland.'

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Girl From the North Country was among the nominees for the 2022 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album.

The cast of Girl From The North Country appeared on Good Morning America this morning to perform a medley of Bob Dylan classics, including 'Hurricane', 'License to Kill', and 'Slow Train'.

Last night a brand new music video for 'Tight Connection To My Heart,' from Girl From The North Country was released as part of Harlem Week's Virtual Music Festival.

The four-time Tony nominated musical sensation JEKYLL & HYDE is celebrating its 200th performance at Chicago's Cadillac Palace as part of the show's pre-Broadway tour. After a multi-city coast-to-coast search that spanned nine months and over 5,000 auditions, ANNIE has found its Annie! Eleven-year-old Lilla Crawford will play the title role in the new production of the classic Tony Award®-winning Broadway musical, opening Fall, 2012 at a Nederlander theatre to be announced. The announcement was made on this morning's TODAY show on NBC.

The new Broadway musical and U.S. National Tour of COME FLY AWAY, conceived, choreographed, and directed by Tony Award-winner Twyla Tharp and featuring vocals by Frank Sinatra, made its Los Angeles debut at the Pantages Theatre Tuesday, October 25 for a strictly-limited 2 week engagement thru November 6, 2011. Wonderland, the new musical that reinvents 'Alice in Wonderland' for the 21st century, opened on Broadway April 17 following previews from March 21 at the Marquis Theatre. Janet Dacal, of In the Heights, plays a modern-day Manhattan mom named Alice, who sings a score by Frank Wildhorn and Jack Murphy.
