Today, Green Day has shared the official lyric video for 'Troubled Times' from their new album 'Revolution Radio.'

Last night, the fans of AMERICAN IDIOT were treated to a special surprise when Green Day band member Mike Dirnt joined Billie Joe and the IDIOT crew onstage for the show's encore performance of 'Good Riddance (Time of Your Life).' Check out his cameo below.

As BroadwayWorld speculated earlier this week (courtesy of BroadwayGirlNYC), Green Day made a surprise appearance at the performance of AMERICAN IDIOT on April 22.

The music video for the new version of Green Day's platinum single '21 Guns,' featuring the cast of AMERICAN IDIOT, is now available on www.AmericanIdiotonBroadway.com, following its exclusive premiere on AOL Music on February 1, 2010.

Following the record-breaking and critically acclaimed engagement of 'American Idiot' at the Berkeley Rep, the production is now Broadway-bound. 'American Idiot' will begin previews in March 2010 and open on Broadway in April at the St. James Theatre. The Broadway cast will be announced shortly.

Originally scheduled to close on October 11, this hotly anticipated world premiere has been extended three weeks and will now play through Sunday, November 1.

Green Day, whose muti-platinum album AMERICAN IDIOT will premiere in a new stage adaptation September 4th at Berkeley Rep, have been honored with three 2009 MTV Video Music Award nominations. The Bay Area-based rock band's video for '21 Guns' - from their current gold album 21st Century Breakdown - has been nominated in the 'Best Rock Video,' 'Best Cinematography,' and 'Best Direction' categories. Green Day are scheduled to perform at the awards ceremony, which takes place at New York City's Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, September 13th.
