Gotta Dance, the new Broadway-bound musical comedy about professional basketball's first ever aged 60-and-older dance team, recently extended one week on the heels of its first performance in Chicago on December 13. The pre-Broadway World Premiere of Gotta Dance will now play through January 17, 2016, at Broadway In Chicago's Bank of America Theatre (18 W Monroe St, Chicago), before opening on Broadway in the Fall of 2016. The classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical 'Oklahoma!' takes the stage at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center July 15-17 and 22-24. The sweet love story of farm girl Laurey Williams and cowboy Curly McClain has been a box office smash for decades. Presented by Liberty Theatre, Lincoln Park's resident professional theatre company, the show marks the debut appearance here of Broadway veteran and Pittsburgh's own Lenora Nemetz as Aunt Eller. On Thursday August 28th Barnes and Noble at Lincoln Triangle hosted Tony and Olivier Award-winning Patti LuPone, four-time Tony Award-winner Boyd Gaines and Tony Award-winner Laura Benanti for a Q&A and a CD signing with additional members of the Gypsy cast. The event was a celebration of the August 26th release of the Gypsy cast recording from Time Life. BWW TV brings you there for all the 'swell' and 'great' fun!

The New Broadway Cast Recording of Gypsy will be released on Tuesday August 26th, 2008. The recording session took place at Manhattan's Clinton Recording Studios and BroadwayWorld TV was there to capture all the excitement as the historic event took place.
