Jordan E. Cooper, the youngest Black American playwright on Broadway, has announced that the history-making and critically-acclaimed Broadway production of Ain’t No Mo’, presented by Lee Daniels, will extend through Friday, December 23, 2022 at the Belasco Theatre.

Last night's BRIGHT STAR audience was pleasantly surprised at the start of Act 2 when Steve Martin joined the band onstage for the Entr'acte. Martin, who wrote the show's book and composed the music with Edie Brickell, played the banjo. Check out footage from the surprise performance below!

Comedy icon Steve Martin and singer-songwriter Edie Brickell have recorded two albums together and won a Grammy for their American roots music. Now they team up on the new Broadway musical, BRIGHT STAR.

On last night's TONIGHT SHOW, the cast of the new Broadway musical BRIGHT STAR performed 'Sun's Gonna Shine,' led by Carmen Cusack, who makes her Broadway debut in the show.

The brand-new Lexington Theatre Company presents its inaugural production of 42nd Street. Tony Award Winner Karen Ziemba, will play Dorothy Brock, alongside other Broadway veterans and up-and-coming actors. 42nd Street is presented by Variety Live at The Opera House with Co-Producing Sponsor Kentucky One Health, and runs July 23, through July 26 at the Lexington Opera House. The Tony Awards, hosted by Hugh Jackman, will be broadcast in a live, three-hour ceremony from Radio City Music Hall, on the CBS television network on Sunday, June 8, 2014. The debut album from composer Ryan Scott Oliver, 35MM: A Musical Exhibition (Original Cast Recording), will be released digitally on Tuesday, August 14th by Ghostlight Records. The album will be available in stores on Tuesday, September 11th. (Pre-orders for the recording are now being taken at http://sh-k-boom.com/35mm.shtml.) An album release concert is being planned for mid-September, about which additional details will be announced shortly.
