The Bodyguard is a new musical based on the smash hit 1992 film! Former Secret Service agent turned bodyguard, Frank Farmer hired to protect superstar Rachel from an unknown stalker. Each expects to be in charge; what they don't expect is to fall in love. A breathtakingly romantic thriller, The Bodyguard features a host of irresistible Whitney Houston classics including Queen of the Night, So Emotional, One Moment in Time, Saving All My Love, Run to You, I Have Nothing, I Wanna Dance with Somebody and one of the biggest selling songs of all time - I Will Always Love You.

Paper Mill Playhouse, in association with Michael Harrison, David Ian and Nederlander Presentations, Inc., presents the North American premiere of the hit new musical The Bodyguard based on the Warner Bros. film written by Lawrence Kasdan, with book by Alexander Dinelaris, direction by Thea Sharrock, choreography by Karen Bruce and music direction by Matthew Smedal, starring Grammy Award-nominated and multi-platinum R&B/pop recording artist and film/TV actress Deborah Cox (Jekyll & Hyde) as Rachel Marron with Judson Mills (Walker, Texas Ranger) as Frank Farmer, the bodyguard.

To celebrate Beverley Knight making her West End debut in The Bodyguard Musical TONIGHT, the producers of the show have released an exclusive teaser of her performing the iconic track "I Will Always Love You". Beverley joins the cast of the hit West End musical, to play the leading role of Oscar-nominated superstar Rachel Marron, alongside Tristan Gemmill as Frank Farmer.

The Bodyguard Musical have released the very first clip of multi award-winning recording artist Beverley Knight, singing the classic Whitney Houston track 'I Have Nothing'. This follows on from last week's exclusive footage of 'Queen Of The Night'.

As BroadwayWorld previously announced, Beverley Knight will take over the lead role from Heather Headley in The Bodyguard, beginning in September. She will play 'Rachel Marron' opposite Tristan Gemmill. The Bodyguard, which opened in December last year, recently announced the release of over 250,000 tickets for sale taking booking at the Adelphi Theatre to 28 September 2013. Directed by Thea Sharrock and based on Lawrence Kasdan's 1992 Oscar nominated Warner Bros. film, The Bodyguard has book by Alex Dinelaris.
