As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the musical adaptation of the hit animated film, Anastasia will play its final performance on Sunday, March 31, 2019 after two successful years on Broadway. In honor of the show's incredible two-year run, we're living in the land of yesterday and taking a look back at the show's Broadway opening night in April 2017.

On this day in 2012, Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's landmark musical EVITA received its first Broadway revival at the Marquis Theatre. It was the first new Broadway production of the seven-time Tony Award-winning musical since it debuted on Broadway over 30 years ago.

Anastasia will be led by Christy Altomare and Derek Klena. Klena and Altomare have worked together before in the revised production of CARRIE off-Broadway, directed by ALLEGIANCE's Stafford Arima. Today we're looking back on that production with a video of Altomare and Klena singing 'You Shine' from the CARRIE cast recording release event.

We caught Tony and Emmy Award-winning sensation Kristin Chenoweth in rehearsal in (video directed and edited by Asaf Shakham). The star and her cast, including Constantine Germanacos, Jennifer Diamond and Johnny Stellard have been rehearsing in New York with director Richard Jay-Alexander and musical director Mary-Mitchell Campbell. Kristin took some time out to send Holiday Wishes to all her fans and friends around the world.

We were allowed to film on Saturday night, August 24, 2013 and union rules allow 'limited usage' of footage so it was particularly tough to edit from this brilliant evening. Live From Lincoln Center will present 'Kristin Chenoweth: The Dames of Broadway...All of 'Em!!!', a specially conceived concert for Lincoln Center's 2013 American Songbook series, which salutes the great roles for leading ladies and the sidekick scene stealers from an array of Broadway composers and lyricists, creating a performance that promises to be at once intimate and filled with her trademark 'razzle dazzle.' 'Kristin Chenoweth: The Dames of Broadway...All of 'Em!!!' will be hosted by Live From Lincoln Center series host Audra McDonald and will air on PBS stations on Sunday, March 24, at 8 p.m. (ET) (check local listings).
