Chicago will celebrate 25 years on Broadway tomorrow Tuesday, November 16th at 6:30PM with a very special performance. Beginning at 5PM on the TKTS Red Steps in Times Square the Brooklyn United Marching Band will march to 49th Street playing Kander & Ebb music. The Ambassador Theatre will be lit in red with a star-studded red carpet. 

Broadway is back in the park! Broadway in Bryant Park has returned for the 2018 season, bringing the best of Broadway together for free performances for six consecutive weeks from through Thursday, August 16. The Bryant Park stage is located at 6th Avenue between 40th and 42nd Streets. Lawn seating is first-come, first-serve.

The indomitable and generous spirit of the theatre community - those onstage, backstage and in the audience - shined brightly as the 29th annual Gypsy of the Year competition celebrated six weeks of fundraising work of 56 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Gypsy of the Year (#GypsyOfTheYear), which was held December 4 and 5, 2017, raised a record-breaking $5,609,211 for Broadway Cares. Check out highlights from the show below!

Cast members of Chicago, the longest-running American musical on Broadway, are launching a music video today, December 5, 2016, to accompany their original song 'Holiday Melody,' which appears on the 2016 edition of the annual Carols for a Cure album. All proceeds from the album benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Watch the video below!

In honor of the show's closing on January 2, BroadwayWorld.com brings you a look back at opening night! PROMISES, PROMISES, starring Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth, began previews at the Broadway Theater on Saturday, March 27, 2010 and opened on Sunday night, April 25, 2010. BroadwayWorld.com and Broadway Beat were there to bring you all the excitement of the show's opening night party at The Plaza Hotel.
