Theatre Calgary presents the world premiere of MARY AND MAX - A NEW MUSICAL, with music & lyrics by Bobby Cronin, book by Crystal Skillman, directed by the organization's new artistic director, Stafford Arima, and orchestrations and music supervision by Anna Ebbesen.

Theatre Calgary is preparing to open Mary and Max - A New Musical, the second world premiere of the 2018-19 season, with music and lyrics by Bobby Cronin, book by Crystal Skillman, directed by Theatre Calgary's Artistic Director Stafford Arima, choreography by Jenn Rapp, and orchestrations and music supervision by Anna Ebbesen.

Yael Silver, Robin Carus and Van Dean today released “We Are The World,” a music video featuring an all-star roster of theater artists and calling for healing and unity in the world today. Participating artists include Christy Altomare, Kelli Barrett, Andrew Burns, Nikki Renee Daniels, Jordan Donica, Rachel Eskenazi-Gold, Justin Guarini, Derek Klena, Jeff Kready, Sydney Lucas, Beth Malone, Lesli Margherita, Constantine Maroulis, Bebe Neuwirth, Orfeh, George Psomas, Anthony Rapp, Courtney Reed, Chita Rivera, Kate Rockwell, Jarrod Spector, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Ephraim Sykes, Jenna Ushkowitz and Ben Vereen.

Understudies are the unsung heroes and the backbone of the theatre industry - and actress/singer Ceili O'Connor is a quintessential and literal unsung hero, having understudied in various productions for five years without ever actually having the opportunity to go on in the lead roles she has covered. Most recently, at the Arts Theatre's studio space, Above The Arts, she finally got the chance to showcase her talent in her own solo cabaret, The Understudy - Waiting In The Wings.

Season 2 of INSPIRED is about to kick off! So far, the group has raised funds for eight animal shelters in the U.S. (and most recently the UK) and given voice to nearly 40 musical theatre writers. Broadway Sings for Pride will kick off NYC Gay Pride 2013 by celebrating with their third annual Gay Pride benefit concert. The special one-night benefit entitled ' Unite' with join forces with American Idol and Billboard recording artistic Kimberley Locke, American Idol and Rent star Anwar Robinson and over 20 members of the Broadway community.
