Turns out, whether you're living in America at the end of the millennium, or at the end of the Renaissance, it's all about the material goods, and Shylock Productions has released a new music video to remind us all. Accompanied by traditional Renaissance instruments, such as the lute and the recorder, Adam Pascal, Josh Grisetti, and Rob McClure (who currently star in the musical as Shakespeare and the Bottom brothers) give the popular RENT anthem, What You Own an old-new twist.

Birdland, the New York City landmark music room, was the place for Broadway and concert stage star Daniel Reichard to perform his annual New York City holiday show December 17, 18 and 19. Reichard, who created the role of Bob Gaudio in the Original Broadway Cast of Jersey Boys and currently tours with the vocal group, 'The Midtown Men,' has celebrated the holidays with a concert for the past nine years.

STAGE TUBE: DOCTOR WHO Season 10 Trailer Released Just in Time for Christmas Special

Doctor Who fans have a lot to celebrate this Boxing Day; in addition to the new Christmas special, BBC has just released the trailer for season 10 of the popular show. The trailer, narrated by The Doctor's newest companion Bill Potts, features an overview of adventures the duo will get up to this year, including Bill's introduction to the Tardis, which prompts her to compare it to a kitchen (she is a chips server, after all). From the looks of the trailer, it seems that fans can also expect a return of Daleks, but we'll have to wait until April to find out more. In the meantime, check out the exciting trailer below!

Looking for that perfectly irreverent mixture of Chanukah and Christmas? Rachel Bloom's got you covered. The Crazy Ex-Girlfriend creator and star took to Twitter today to provide followers with her 'annual reminder' that she once created an album of Chanukah comedy songs, with a link to the music video for 'Chanukah Honey,' a parody of the popular Christmas tune, 'Santa Baby.' Featuring lyrics like, 'Chanukah honey, you've got your MBA from Penn—amen!' the song is sure to give your Chanukah an amusing (if perhaps not quite pious) start!

Hot on the heels of The Maccabeats, Jewish a cappella group Six13 has just released a cover video of several Hamilton songs, using Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical as a backdrop for telling the story of Chanukah. Introduced by no less than President Obama himself, the video covers 'The Story of Tonight,' 'Alexander Hamilton,' and 'My Shot,' the new song lyrics tell the story of Judah Maccabee and how he led the Hebrews to victory against the Greeks.

This week on SNL, Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton (Kate McKinnon) came out of the woods to visit a US Elector and remind her of that all-important task this holiday season: keeping Donald Trump from becoming President. Inspired by the movie Love Actually, Clinton employed a series of notecards to silently go through all the reasons Trump must be stopped when the electoral college votes on December 19th. Clinton even tells the elector that she doesn't have to vote her, suggesting John Kasich, Zendaya, and Tom Hanks as worthy alternatives.

Today, Jennifer Hudson (Motormouth Maybelle) posted an Instagram of her with the live musical's producers, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, thanking them for believing in her and giving her an opportunity to be a part of Hairspray Live! On the heels of her post, we received a mega thank you photo of the entire cast and members of the creative team. One thing's for sure: we'll be feeling the beat from Hairspray Live! for some time to come!

Sutton Foster's start on Broadway is the real-life version of the stuff movie musicals are made of; one week before the opening of Throughly Modern Millie on Broadway, Foster received a call from director Michael Mayer, bumping her up from understudy to the star of the show—and the rest is musical theatre history. This morning, Foster sat down with CBS' Mo Rocca to chat about her journey as a Broadway actress, and her current starring roles in TV Land's Younger and The New Group's Sweet Charity. When speaking about the latter, in reference to recovering from her divorce several years ago, Foster said, “What's interesting is that I know [Charity], because I think I have been her, but luckily, I don't feel like I'm her now.”

America's favorite meth-making high school teacher, Walter White (Bryan Cranston), appeared on SNL's cold open with Jake Tapper (Beck Bennett) and Kellyanne Conway (Kate McKinnon) last night to announce his return to the land of the living for the most unlikely-well, in this current political climate, perhaps not the most unlikely-of reasons: Donald Trump has nominated him to be the head of the national Drug Enforcement Administration. According to White, he and Trump 'Agree: it's time to 'Make America Cook Again.' [They] wanna fill this nation with red, white, and a whole lotta blue.' When discussing resistance he might face to his appointment considering his lack of political experience, White acquiesced that Congress 'might get hung up on the fact that [he] faked his own death; [he's] only the third person in the Trump cabinet to do that.'
