Broadway gave Six a royal welcome last night, as the new musical by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss finally opened at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre and BroadwayWorld TV was there to capture interviews & more.

Get ready, queens! The Broadway production of SIX, the musical by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, will resume performances on Friday, September 17 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. SIX will celebrate its long-awaited official Broadway opening night on Sunday, October 3, 2021.

Featuring such hits as 'My Boyfriend's Back,' 'Son of a Preacher Man,' and '(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,' Beehive chronicles the dramatic transformations of a volatile decade, told from the perspective of six young women who live through it.

Adrianna Hicks, Catherine of Aragon in Broadway's hit new musical SIX and Dorothy in Broadway Sacramento's 2019 production of THE WIZ, made a special recording of 'Home' to remind us what Broadway At Music Circus means to so many.

Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. From Tudor Queens to Pop Princesses, SIX the wives of Henry VIII take the mic to reclaim their identities out of the shadow of their infamous spouse-remixing five hundred years of historical heartbreak into an exuberant celebration of 21st century girl power. 'It is a 75-minute, non-stop, pop rock concert, and it's told from the women's point of view, so you're getting to know what has actually happened to them,' explains Samantha Pauly, who plays Katherine Howard.

The 2019 season continues with the Broadway At Music Circus premiere of The Wiz, a multiple Tony Award-winning Best Musical retelling of L. Frank Baum's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, running Tuesday, Aug. 6 through Sunday, Aug. 11 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion in Sacramento. Get a first look at the cast in action below!

Meet the creative team of of SIX the musical at Chicago Shakespeare in the video below! BroadwayWorld has a first look at Paper Mill Playhouse's The Color Purple, directed by Tony Award-winner John Doyle. The Color Purple is the Tony Award-winning musical revival based upon the novel written by Alice Walker and the Warner Bros.Amblin Entertainment motion picture with a book by Marsha Norman and music and lyrics by Brenda Russell, Allee Willis, and Stephen Bray.

The first North American tour of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of THE COLOR PURPLE will launch on October 7, 2017 in Schenectady, New York at Proctors and the tour will have its official opening October 17, 2017 in Baltimore, Maryland at The Hippodrome Theatre. The tour will visit more than 30 cities in its first year on tour.

In attendance today was the cast of The Color Purple (Antoine L. Smith, Rema Webb, Phoenix Best, Akron Watson, Carrie Compere, Adrianna Hicks, Patrice Covington, Lawrence Clayton) who performed three songs from the show: 'Push Da Button,' 'Any Little Thing,' and 'The Color Purple.' Cast members from the Tony-nominated revival of The Color Purple made their way to The Laurie Beechman Theatre on Thursday evening for Broadway Sessions. It became clear pretty darn quick that we were no longer in a theater- we were at CHURCH! These cats can sing like nobody's business. And that's just what they did. They SANG!!! Cast members Rema Webb, Antoine L. Smith, J. Daughtry, Adrianna Hicks, Bre Jackson, Phoenix Best, Akron Watson and Carla R. Stewart were greeted with standing ovation after standing ovation. The cast also shared insights into their audition experiences, told us their favorite 'audience reactions', played a round of 'The Color Purple Pyramid' and joined their voices together for an unforgettable group performance of the show's 11 o'clock number, 'I'm Here.'
