A modern-day Mr. Rogers with hipster appeal, Joshua Holden and his puppet sidekick, Mr. Nicholas, are bringing their award-winning family production The Joshua Show to Segerstrom Center for the Arts.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts' in Costa Mesa, California continues it's 2019 - 2020 Family Series with The Joshua Show: Episode 2. This family-friendly production plays February 1 and 2 in Samueli Theater. Will caught up with Joshua himself. Joshua holden is an Award-winning puppeteer and Ambassador joy. He shares how he uses singing, tap dancing and a cast of zany puppets to thrill audiences of all ages in his whimsical production about friendship and the value of being yourself.

Broadway Sessions bid farewell to Avenue Q recently. Current cast members as well as Q alumni joined together to celebrate the Tony winning musicals 16 year run in NYC. And yes, there was plenty of puppet action! Last night, Broadway Sessions will held the ultimate AVENUE Q Farewell/Reunion Show. The show's current cast will joined Q alumni for a night of story and song that was uniquely Q.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway cast twice monthly. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida, Footloose, Dance Captain Dance Attack web series) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday night, May 23rd Broadway Sessions will hold the ultimate AVE Q Farewell/Reunion Show. Current cast will join Q alumni for a night of story and song that is uniquely Q.

Award-winning puppeteer Joshua Holden returns to the Center for Puppetry Arts for a limited engagement of The Joshua Show: Episode 2 from March 12-17. In this new production, Joshua's right-hand man and the grumpiest grump, Mr. Nicholas, is planning to escape to outer space. Through singing, tap dancing and help from a cast of zany puppets, Joshua sets out to convince Mr. Nicholas to stay.

Camp Broadway LLC is pleased to announce that the company has formed an alliance with T School, a prestigious, private International School in Beijing, to introduce musical theatre to their students from around the world. This Broadway/Beijing alliance commences today, Monday, October 1, when a 4-member team from Camp Broadway begins a 6-day residency at the school.

HERE's Dream Music Puppetry Program proudly presents March of the Puppets, taking place March 11 - 19.  March of the Puppets features three unique events: "Puppet Parlor 2016" (March 11 & 12), "The Joshua Show" (March 13) and "Steve of Tomorrow" (March 16 - 19).  Performances, detailed below, take place in the Dorothy B. Williams Theater at HERE (145 Sixth Avenue).            

From the superb set, to the amazing puppetry of the cast, everything about AVENUE Q at UAB was top notch entertainment. I was definitely impressed with UAB and their theatre department.

Nearly nine out of every ten seats were filled at last month's inaugural Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival, a major success that attracted a total audience of more than 14,000 to 83 different festival events, sold out more than 80 percent of its shows, and played to 87 percent capacity over the course of its 12-day run, January 14-25.
