Playhouse Square has announced the First National Tour of AIN’T TOO PROUD – THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE TEMPTATIONS, the new Broadway smash hit musical, will play the KeyBank State Theatre July 12 – 31 as part of the 2021-22 KeyBank Broadway Series.

Overture Center for the Arts will present the First National Tour of AIN'T TOO PROUD – THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE TEMPTATIONS. The new Broadway smash hit musical will play in Overture Hall from Tuesday, June 14 through Sunday, June 19 as part of the 2021/22 Broadway season.

The Broadway smash-hit musical Ain’t Too Proud—The Life and Times of The Temptations is coming to Wharton Center from Tuesday, June 7, through Sunday, June 12.

Broadway In Detroit has announced that the First National Tour of AIN’T TOO PROUD – THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE TEMPTATIONS, the new Broadway smash hit musical, will make its Detroit Premiere at the Detroit Opera House August 9-28 as part of its 60th Anniversary Season.

The following is jointly issued on behalf of the First National Tour of Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations and Shea’s Performing Arts Center, where Ain’t Too Proud is currently playing at Shea’s Buffalo Theatre through May 15, 2022.

The American Theatre Guild will present the South Bend engagement of AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN. This production is part of the BROADWAY IS BACK IN SOUTH BEND SERIES and will take the Morris Performing Arts Center stage June 3–5, 2022.

David Mirvish has announced the return of Jesus Christ Superstar for two weeks only, August 10 to 21, 2022 at the Royal Alexandra Theatre. 

FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will present the cast of the North American Tour of An Officer and a Gentleman in “An Officer and a Showcase” on Tuesday, May 24 at 7:00PM. 

Daniel Casey, star of ITV's Midsummer Murders, is to join the cast of the comedy thriller Cluedo as Professor Plum. Casey will be joining Michelle Collins, star of EastEnders and Coronation Street, who is starring as Miss Scarlett. The new play, directed by Mark Bell (The Play That Goes Wrong), arrives in Milton Keynes from Monday 30 May for one week.

The American Theatre Guild will present the Peoria engagement of AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN. This production is part of the AMEREN ILLINOIS BROADWAY IS BACK IN PEORIA SERIES and will take the Peoria Civic Center stage May 31–June 1, 2022.

Following critically acclaimed, sold-out engagements in the UK, the reimagined 50th Anniversary tour of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR will make its anticipated Miami premiere at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County from May 31 – June 5, 2022.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust has announced the first national tour of AIN’T TOO PROUD – THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE TEMPTATIONS, the new Broadway smash hit musical that will play Pittsburgh’s Benedum Center, 237 7th Street, May 17-22, 2022, as part of the 2021-2022 PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh series.

Broadway in Hollywood today announced a digital lottery for RENT at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, for all 8 performances between April 12 – 17, 2022.

The Tony Award-winning Alley Theatre and Artistic Director Rob Melrose has announced the 2022-23 season which includes six world premieres including three world premiere plays, two world premiere adaptations, and one world premiere musical. The 76th season also marks the return of the Summer Chills series, after a three-year hiatus due to COVID-19.

Single tickets go on sale today, Friday, March 18, at 11 a.m.

The new musical AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN, based on the Oscar-winning film and original screenplay by Douglas Day Stewart, is now on a multi-season tour that will visit more than 50 cities in the 2021-2022 season.
