NOVEMBER THEATRE brings award-winning British playwright, Miriam Battye's, (un)ordinary world to life. When Matty, a stranger, enters the intimate world of Ella and Zoe, what unfolds is a night of reality TV binge watching, role play, personal confessions, and two marriage proposals. As the girls work through a big life decision, the insecurities of all three are brought to a head as they go through a transformative evening of activities. 

A CHRISTMAS CAROL Brings The Holiday Spirit To Jersey City At Art House Productions

Art House Productions (Executive Director Meredith Burns) has announced its limited engagement of REID FARRINGTON'S A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Created and Directed by Reid Farrington & Foxy Films, this multimedia theater production is a live mash-up of nearly every movie version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL ever made, bringing new life to the time-honored story. Following a successful stint at Abrons Arts Center in 2011, this unique production will bring the holiday spirit to Jersey City. Art House's production will feature an accomplished professional company of actors, including Laura K Nicoll, Adam Patterson, and Zachary Eisenstat.

NYU Skirball Announces Winter 2020 Season

NYU Skirball's Winter/Spring 2020 season will open on Thursday, January 23 with a two-week run of the Wooster Group's acclaimed A PINK CHAIR (In Place of a Fake Antique), directed by Elizabeth LeCompte, and conclude with the New York premiere of the Requiem Pour L, a joyful music/dance meditation on life and death from Belgium's les ballets C de la B. The season reflects NYU Skirball's commitment to supporting and presenting today's most adventurous and creative artists working in dance, theater, music and visual arts.

NYU Skirball will present Elements of Oz, a live performance/augmented reality mash-up of theater, technology and pop culture that celebrates and deconstructs The Wizard of Oz, from the New York-based performance company, The Builders Association, on Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8, 2019 at NYU Skirball. The MGM film is celebrating its 80th Anniversary as one of America's most beloved films (it opened on August 25, 1939). Steve Buscemi Joins Judd Apatow, Pete Davidson Comedy

According to Variety, actor Steve Buscemi is is set to join the cast of the forthcoming Untitled Judd ApatowPete Davidson Comedy.  The film will be based on Davidson's life, including losing his firefighter father on 911. This will be Apatow's first film since Trainwreck. The cast also includes Marisa Tomei, Bill Burr, Maude Apatow and Bel Powley.
