The York Theatre Company has announced that Alex Joseph Grayson, direct from the Broadway revival of Parade, has joined the cast of *How to Steal an Election: A Dirty Politics Musical,with music and lyrics by Oscar Brand and book by William F. Brown, the first offering of the Fall Musicals in Mufti* series.

Broadway newcomer Nichelle Lewis will star as “Dorothy” and lead the cast of The Wiz in the national tour this fall and Broadway return in the Spring of 2024.  Ms. Lewis who hails from Virginia was discovered via a TikTok video, and selected from more than 2,000 submissions for the coveted role.

It has been confirmed that Kyle Birch will take over as Usher in A Strange Loop in London! Also joining the cast as the Usher understudy is Christopher Michael Richardson. The casting was confirmed in a post on the show's social media accounts.

The eight-time Tony Award-nominated hit musical BEETLEJUICE will play exclusively in Melbourne at the Regent Theatre in April 2025.

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) has announced that tickets for the 2023/24 DCPA Theatre Company productions and 11 Broadway & Cabaret tours are now on sale.  

Door Shakespeare’s 2023 summer season comes to a close on August 26, with two shows running in alternating repertory. The Old Man and The Old Moon, with book, music, and lyrics by PigPen Theatre Company runs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7:30; and William Shakespeare’s As You Like It runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 and Saturdays at 5. The Last Flapper will end its EdFringe run on 19 August at Greenside @ Riddles Court – Clover Studio (Venue 16). The show premieres a new version of William Luce's play which has been created by DuBord and Texan director Lydia Mackay. 

Hannah Farley-Hills for HFH Productions’ multi-award-winning production of Bacon by Sophie Swithinbank has opened to sell-out performances at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe. A sizzling star-studded cast has been announced for the new Australian tour of one of Australia's favourite musicals, CHICAGO. Tickets go on pre-sale tomorrow in Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne, with general public tickets on sale from Friday 18 August.

On September 22 at 7:00, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church will present the premiere of The Prodigal Daughter, a Christian-themed opera by librettist Alexander Reign and composers Theodore Christman, Jane Kozhevnikova, Trevor Maloney, Akihiro Masuda, Patricio Molina, Harrison Sheckler, and Stéphane Tesan.
