Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) and CreateTheater.com have announced an upcoming TRU Feedback Workshop, How to Write a Musical That Works - Part Three: Reckoning and Resolution, reformatted and rethought for virtual presentation, on Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 12pm-7:00pm ET.

It’s Ladies’ Night at the Lied Center! #IMOMSOHARD is coming back to Nebraska.

The Warner Theatre has announced an exciting new partnership with the St. John Paul the Great Academy Drama Club and The Nutmeg Ballet Conservatory. The Drama Club will coordinate a full production of MOANA JR., with audition dates to be announced, and a performance in the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre in June.  

David Brighton's SPACE ODDITY: The Ultimate David Bowie Experience will take flight at The Factory on Friday, April 14. Show time is 8 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.) 

The Warner Theatre will welcome CLASSIC SEGER to the Oneglia Auditorium, Friday, June 23 at 8 pm! Tickets are on sale to Warner supporters on Tuesday, February 7 and to the public on Friday, February 10 at 10 am.

The Warner Theatre's Winter Film series continues with Love & Basketball, February 16 at 7 pm in the Oneglia Auditorium! The following Thursday, the Warner will present Hidden Figures on February 23, 7 pm in the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre.  

Ivo Van Hove is working with John Wells on a new television series taking place in a ruthless music conservatory. The series will be written by Matthew-Lee Erlbach, inspired by his experience training in the cutthroat environment at one of the top music conservatories in the country.

Freah off his Elvis biopic receiving eight Oscar nominations, Baz Luhrmann has signed a first look deal with Warner Brothers Pictures. Luhrmann will be developing and directing original feature material. He is also allowed to direct outisde projects as well. He is also known for directing Moulin Rouge!, The Great Gatsby, and more.

Co-authored by Conor Duffy and Jake Broder, Max & Willy’s Last Laugh is based on the true story of entertainers Max Ehrlich and Willy Rosen, who for 18 months performed the funniest cabaret in Europe to ensure their safety at the Westerbork Transit Camp during World War II.

Si Litvinoff, the visionary producer whose foresight in cinema art led to perennial classics such as Stanley Kubrick's “A Clockwork Orange,” Nicolas Roeg's “Walkabout”, 'The Man Who Fell to Earth,' starring David Bowie, and more passed away peacefully on Monday, December 26, 2022, in Los Angeles, California. He was 93.    

Scenic Artist Michael Denering, best known for his creative painting of artwork for Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, Toys, Die Hard, Batman Returns, Jurassic Park and Bram Stoker’s Dracula will receive the Art Directors Guild (ADG, IATSE Local 800) Lifetime Achievement Award from the Scenic, Title & Graphic Artists (STG).

Boondocks Film Society and Movies @ The Warner present the visually arresting 2014 film A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night and a haunting pre-film performance by internationally acclaimed recording artist Simone White on Saturday, January 21st at 7 pm in Torrington – with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the protests for basic human rights in Iran.  

TOPDOG/UNDERDOG STUDENT SEATS, the ticket program that provides fully funded tickets to student groups, has exceeded its projected goal, welcoming over 4,000 NYC students to see the production free of charge at Broadway’s Golden Theatre.

The Met: Live in HD, the Metropolitan Opera's award-winning series of live high-definition cinema simulcasts, presents Kevin Puts's The Hours, Saturday, December 10 at 12:55 pm ET. The Hours will be presented in the Warner Theatre's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre.

Education @ the Warner announces MINI CREATORS, a free program for children ages birth-5 years and caregivers, Thursday mornings at 10 am from December 1 - 22, 2022. MINI CREATORS sessions will take place in the Warner Theatre's new Warner Club at 80 Main St. in Torrington, CT.  

Donelle Dadigan (Founder/President of the Hollywood Museum in the Historic Max Factor Bldg) brought the cast of TV’s most celebrated family, THE WALTONS, together at the Hollywood Museum for an afternoon of fun and photos with fans. Following a cast Q&A with emcee, Hollywood film and TV critic, Leonard Maltin, fans experienced The Waltons Exhibit, with full support and participation by Warner Brothers Archivists.
