Lea Michele and Tovah Feldshuh Join FUNNY GIRL on Broadway Tonight

Funny Girl gets new funny ladies tonight! Lea Michele will star as 'Fanny Brice' and Tovah Feldshuh will star as 'Mrs. Brice,' alongside Tony & Olivier Award nominee Ramin Karimloo as 'Nick Arnstein'. The production will invite critics back to the show, but not for a few weeks, after the pair has had a “brief time to perform together.” 

The Royal Opera House and Britten Pears Arts Announces Full Cast for THE RAPE OF LUCRETIA

The Royal Opera House and Britten Pears Arts has announced full casting details for The Rape of Lucretia. This new staging of Benjamin Britten's unsparing chamber opera opens at Snape Maltings, Suffolk as part of its Britten Weekend on 29 and 30 October, before this new production is on stage at the Linbury Theatre, Royal Opera House from 13-22 November.  

The Orchestra Now Announces 2022-23 Season

The Orchestra Now, the visionary orchestra and master’s degree program founded by Bard College president, conductor, educator, and music historian Leon Botstein, returns to the stage for its eighth season on September 10, 2022.

FUNNY GIRL to Add New Song When Lea Michele Joins the Company

Lea Michele is set to take over as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl on Broadway, beginning performances on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, and when she joins the company, she will be getting a new song to sing! A new interlude of the song 'I’d Rather Be Blue Over You' that Barbra Streisand sings in the movie, will be added to the show. 

Universal Preservation Hall Announces Upcoming 2023 Shows

Universal Preservation Hall is announcing the first batch of shows coming in 2023. Tickets are available through the Box Office at Proctors, in person or via phone at 518-346-6204 Monday-Friday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. or online at UniversalPreservationHall.org starting Tuesday, September 6. Starting October 1, the Box Office at Proctors will extend their hours to include Saturdays. Groups of 10 or more can get their tickets by calling 518-382-3884, ext. 139.

Trinity Church Wall Street Unveils New Season Of Music

Trinity Church Wall Street has announced the upcoming fall music season, which will include the return of Bach at One, performances by NOVUS NY, and Handel's Messiah, alongside a new jazz concert series and dynamic collaborations.

UCLA's Center for the Art of Performance Presents Experimental Theater Duo 600 HIGHWAYMEN

​​​​​​​UCLA's Center for the Art of Performance (CAP UCLA) welcomes the return of Obie Award-winning experimental theater duo 600 Highwaymen presenting A Thousand Ways (Part Three): An Assembly on Saturday and Sunday, October 1-2 and 22-23; February 4-5 and 11-12 at noon, 1:30pm, 3pm, 4:30pm, 6pm and 7:30pm (times are for each dates listed) in the Royce Hall Rehearsal Room. Royal & Derngate And English Touring Opera Present SCENE UNSEEN

As part of its Made in Northampton season, Royal & Derngate has launched Scene Unseen, an intimate cabaret by Jessica Walker and Joseph Atkins, directed for film by the theatre's Artistic Director James Dacre with illustrations by award-winning illustrator Thomas Hicks and cinematography by David Lefeber. 

Review: JERKER at The Provincetown Theater

T2's Rooftop Pop-up Bar, Area 52, Opens This Week

The Commons Bar/Café at TheatreSquared today announced a surprise pop-up bar on the rooftop terrace of the company's 2021 International Architecture Award-winning facility. Area 52 opens on September 1. Capacity is extremely limited, with first-come, first-served seating from 6-10 pm, Thursday through Saturday, on the theatre's rooftop terrace overlooking downtown Fayetteville.

West Coast Premiere of DADDY ISSUES is Coming to the Complex in Hollywood

How far will a gay guy go to please his controlling Jewish parents? Charles Blondeau will present the West Coast premiere of an exuberant, off-Broadway screwball comedy inspired by a true event. Written and directed by David Goldyn, Daddy Issues opens on October 14 for a five-week run through November 13 at the Complex in Hollywood.
