County Holiday Celebration Music ensembles, choirs and dance companies from the many neighborhoods and cultures of the region celebrate the season during this free three-hour holiday show that is perfect for the whole family. PBS SoCal KOCE will broadcast this beloved program.

As a lifelong fan of David Bowie and human rights equality, when I heard The Los Angeles LGBT Center was hosting a return performance of the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles (TCLA) to its Renberg Theatre the weekend of August 26-27, 2017 to perform planet Earth's first staged concert production of Bowie's full The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars album, I rushed to get my tickets! And thanks to TCLA's artistic director, Lindsey Deaton, and the talented artistic singers of the group, I can tell you the evening was one of the most inspirational of my life.

???????The Los Angeles LGBT Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center has announced the return of the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles (TCLA) to its Renberg Theatre on Saturday, August 26 at 8pm and Sunday, August 27 at 2pm. TCLA will once again perform planet Earth's first staged concert production of the full The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars by David Bowie. As Bowie intended, additional hit songs will complete the entire musical saga.

Artistic leaders and managers of choirs from North America will gather in Los Angeles this month for Chorus America's 2017 Conference held Wednesday, June 21 through Saturday, June 24. The conference is being held at the Omni Hotel on Grand Avenue and is hosted by the Los Angeles Master Chorale, a resident company of The Music Center and choir-in-residence at Walt Disney Concert Hall. Chorus America is a 2,000-member national advocacy, research, and leadership development organization based in Washington, D.C.

The Los Angeles LGBT Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center has announced it will be welcoming the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles (TCLA) to its Renberg Theatre for the first time. Gustavo Dudamel will lead the combined forces of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela - joined by the Los Angeles Master Chorale, Los Angeles Children's Chorus and community choruses - in a performance of Mahler's Symphony No. 8, known as the 'Symphony of a Thousand,' at the historic Shrine Auditorium for a spectacular performance with over 1000 musicians and singers. A roster of vocal soloists will also take part.
