Apple has just dropped a new trailer for the original film The Instigators starring Matt Damon and Casey Affleck. Directed by Doug Liman and written by Chuck MacLean and Casey Affleck, “The Instigators” also stars Michael Stuhlbarg, Paul Walter Hauser, Ving Rhames, Alfred Molina, and Toby Jones, with Jack Harlow and Ron Perlman. Watch the trailer!

DreamWorks Animation has just dropped a new trailer for their latest animated feature, The Wild Robot. The epic adventure follows the journey of a robot—ROZZUM unit 7134, “Roz” for short — that is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh surroundings, gradually building relationships with the animals on the island and becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling. Watch the trailer now!

The Den Theatre has announced comedian Neal Brennan: Unacceptable playing Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 7:15 pm on The Heath Mainstage, 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.

The cast will feature Emmy award winning Keegan-Michael Key (Key and Peele)  as Wild, Academy Award ®-winner Jordan Peele (Get Out, Us) as Wendell, as well as Lyric Ross (This Is Us), Angela Bassett (Black Panther), James Hong (Kung Fu Panda), Tamara Smart (A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting), Natalie Martinez (The Twilight Zone), and more.

Westcoast Black Theater Troupe, Semkhor Productions and FOUNDERS+ held their first in a planned series of artist master classes, titled “Conversations with Nate Jacobs.” Featured artist for the first program was Danielle Moné Truitt, who is currently starring in the NBC series “Law & Order: Organized Crime.”

The effort will bring nationally-recognized artists and filmmakers to the area to provide master classes at the theater; these classes will be offered free to WBTT artists and the community and provide a wealth of knowledge on acting and content creation.
