The Broadway Comedy Club hosts the 2016 National Improv League Championship Game. After a grueling six weeks that saw sixteen teams from around the country go head to head in comedy's most illustrious competition, two teams stand alone. Representing Washington DC 'The DC Comics' and From Los Angeles 'The LA Lol's'. At stake is the NIL Trophie and a $20,000 cash prize. Ten performers, the referee, the prize and a super involved audience, that helps dictate the action, come together to bring to the stage this tightly rapped yet chaotic comedy thriller.

The National Improv League, a ground breaking Latino based comedy competition that brings 14 performers, a referee, a special guest and an all inclusive audience to The Nuyorican Poet's Cafe in the East Village. Conceived, directed and produced by award winning writer, director, producer Felix Rojas, The NIL combines just about every element of comedy into a very neat yet chaotic stew of hilarity. Although most of the players in the league are Latino, make no mistake, this show gives a new meaning to the word diverse.

Conceived, directed and produced by award winning writer, director, producer Felix Rojas, The NIL combines just about every element of comedy into a very neat yet chaotic stew of hilarity. Although most of the players in the league are Latino, make no mistake, this show gives a new meaning to the word diverse. Joining the Latino's on stage are three African Americans, a Brit, a Jew, a Greek and a Rasta Rican.

Garden of Laughs Comedy Benefit Raises Nearly $1.4 Million

MSG Entertainment (MSGE) and The Garden of Dreams Foundation announced today that its sold-out comedy event, Garden of Laughs, raised nearly $1.4 million to aid the Foundation's efforts to make dreams come true for children in need, making it the most successful fundraiser in Garden of Dreams' history.
