Sheryl Lee Ralph Honored at The Elizabeth Taylor Ball to End AIDS

On September 15, The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF) honored Charlize Theron, Colin Farrell and Sheryl Lee Ralph with the Elizabeth Taylor Commitment to End AIDS Award at The Elizabeth Taylor Ball to End AIDS fundraising gala. GRAMMY®-winning Motown legend Thelma Houston performed at the event.

The Orchestra Now Performs at Jazz at Lincoln Center With JoAnn Falletta and Nikki Chooi Next Month

The Orchestra Now welcomes back acclaimed conductor JoAnn Falletta, Music Director of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO), for her fourth appearance with TŌN on Sunday October 16 at 3 PM at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater. She will be joined by award-winning Canadian violinist Nikki Chooi, concertmaster of the BPO, for Ravel’s rhapsodic Tzigane and Chausson’s mournful Poème in a program that also offers works by Roberto Sierra, Albert Roussel, and Paul Hindemith. 

John Stamos to Write Memoir for Henry Holt

Henry Holt, a division of Macmillan Publishers, has acquired actor John Stamos’s memoir, If You Would Have Told Me. Stamos is the critically acclaimed, Emmy-nominated actor whose multifaceted career spans four decades. Executive Editor James Melia acquired the book from Esther Newberg and Kristyn Keene Benton at CAA.
