On July 12th, Backstreet Boy Howie D will release his debut family album, WHICH ONE AM I?, a collection of songs that offer musical reflections of his own childhood, as a young Howie D overcomes his insecurities to discover his true self.

The 2nd Annual Trump Family Special is an original musical comedy spoofing the First Family in a yuge way!  The show's 8 Fringe Festival performances are June 7 - 9 and 13 - 16 (show times listings at trumpfamilyspecial.com) - The Arena Stage at Theatre of Arts, 1625 N Las Palmas Ave, Hollywood 90028.  The show runs approximately 65 minutes.

Judith Ivey will be directing a reading of SENIOR LIVING, a new play written by Tor Hyams & Lisa St. Lou featuring David Wohl, Zach Grenier, Debra Jo Rupp, Erika Rolfsrud, Mary Beth Peil, Paul DeBoy and Susan Slatin.

In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 36 established and emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists will converge on the Goodspeed campus from mid-January through mid-February 2018 to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing 18 new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration.

An Evening of Broadway Love Songs benefiting the historic Actors' Temple, a New York City-based synagogue and Off-Broadway Theatre Space will take place on Monday, February 13th from 8-10 pm at The Actors' Temple, 339 West 47th Street.

Greenwood is an original musical comedy about recapturing the vitality of lost youth. Following the journey of a group of teenagers who meet at summer camp, Greenwood explores the many choices of youth and young adulthood and the joys and pains of discovering and staying true to who you truly are. The title comes from the name of the summer camp where the protagonists first met-a very special place whose magic is not of the supernatural variety, but, rather, comes from the power of acceptance, creative freedom, and love. Greenwood enjoyed an 8 performance run at the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2011. GCPA is thrilled to work with the Greenwood team to move it into its next phase!

Gateway Center for Performing Arts has announced youth auditions for its upcoming Staged Reading Workshop of the new musical GREENWOOD.
