Cast members of Chicago, the longest-running American musical on Broadway, are launching a music video today, December 5, 2016, to accompany their original song 'Holiday Melody,' which appears on the 2016 edition of the annual Carols for a Cure album. All proceeds from the album benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Watch the video below!

Earlier this week, the company of CHICAGO took their act uptown, to Central Park. To celebrate the musical's 20th Anniversary, fans got to experience the razzle dazzle with a free concert at SummerStage in Central Park. The cast of Chicago, Broadway's longest running musical, is celebrating this production's twentieth birthday today! For this momentous day, the cast are taking to the streets, with a free concert at SummerStage in Central Park. Doors open at 7PM and the show begins at 8PM. We were lucky enough to catch up with some of the cast as they made their final preparations for today's show.

The best of Broadway will be performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that continued this week, July 14 on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 16th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 11.

Broadway in Bryan Park continued its 2015 program on Thursday - and BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the first day. Later this week, 106.7 LITE FM will continue its 15th annual lunchtime theatre summer series, '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park.' The 2015 program will present the best of Broadway, FREE to the public, on six consecutive Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on the Bryant Park Stage. Thursday's line-up will include performances from the casts of CHICAGO (Brandy Norwood, Donna Marie Asbury, NaTasha Yvette Williams, David Bushman, Andrew Fitch, Kelcy Ann Griffin, Denny Paschall, Angel Reda, Michael Scirrotto, Tonya Wathen, Lara Seibert Young), Finding Neverland (Laura Michelle Kelly, Casey Butler, Jackson Demott Hill, Alex Dreier, Eli Tokash), SISTAS: The Musical (Emilie Battle, Tanesha Gary, Jennifer Fouche, Amy Goldberger, Robyn Payne), MAMMA MIA!, and 39 Steps (Arnie Burton, Billy Carter, Robert Petkoff, Brittany Vicars).

CHICAGO has surpassed the run of iconic Broadway blockbuster CATS with a record-breaking 7,486 performances, making it the second longest-running show in Broadway history. Only one show -- The Phantom of the Opera -- has run longer than CHICAGO. BroadwayWorld was there for the after-party and brings you photos below!

On Sunday, November 23 (7 p.m.), in a celebratory landmark performance, the company of Broadway's record-breaking hit musical CHICAGO welcomed back its four original stars -- Tony Award winners Ann Reinking, Bebe Neuwirth, James Naughton and Joel Grey. Each made cameos in the show and all reunited for a special curtain call!

It was almost like no time had passed as original stars of the CHICAGO revival Ann Reinking and Bebe Neuwirth took part in the show's mega-celebration last night by reprising 'Nowadays'.

Tonight, November 6th, Broadway Sessions celebrates the longest running American Broadway Musical in history, Chicago.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday, November 6th, Broadway Sessions celebrates the longest running American Broadway Musical in history, Chicago.
