It may have been unrealistic to open a new play amid the coronavirus pandemic, but 'The Realistic Joneses' did just that on Saturday at Spooky Action Theatre, a group whose name inspires no further confidence (it's named after Einstein's term for quantum entanglement - the ability of separate objects to share a condition at a distance).

Academy Award nominee Ruth Negga is currently making her American theatrical debut in a passionate, critically acclaimed portrayal of William Shakespeare's Hamlet, directed by Yael Farber and featuring an ensemble of leading Irish actors. With Farber's direction, the focus moves from Hamlet's anguish and identity to the power of resistance against treachery and the raw usurpation of power. The production, which began on February 1, 2020, was extended for an additional week, and will now play through March 8, 2020.

Kinves Out has just recently hit the cinemas.
It has gained great reviews from critics and audiences. Unfortunately, there was one fellow who left the cinema with a great sigh. Me, who just two hours earlier had waited for an interesting murder-mystery that would have kept me on the edge of my seat from the beginning to the end like The Prestige (Nolan, 2006) did.
