Fresh off their triumphant debut at Feinstein's/54 Below in New York City, Branden & James-the "powerhouse cello and vocal duo" (The Fight Magazine)-head to the West Coast with their show, The Broadway Covers Project.

The Cher Show begins previews tonight, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Neil Simon Theatre. Get to know the cast below as they begin Broadway performances!

Following five previous sold-out engagements, Feinstein's at the Nikko welcomes back Grammy Award winner and two-time Emmy Award nominee Steve Tyrell for four performances only-Thursday, February 28 (8 p.m.); Friday, March 1 (8 p.m.); Saturday, March 2 (8 p.m.) andSunday, March 3 (5 p.m.). 

Following a sold-out engagement in 2016, Broadway giants Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp return to Feinstein's at the Nikko with their hit-show Acoustically Speaking - A 20-Year Friendship on Friday, January 18 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, January 19 at 8 p.m. An intimate unplugged show, Adam and Anthony will deliver solo sets featuring both original tunes and songs that have influenced their lives, capped off by performing a few of the iconic hits from where it all began-RENT

Direct from starring in the hit Broadway musical A Bronx Tale-written by Chazz Palminteri and directed by Robert De Niro-San Francisco Bay Area native Bobby Conte Thornton brings his acclaimed concert, Blame It On My Youth, to Feinstein's at the Nikko on Friday, January 11 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, January 12 at 8 p.m.

Renowned husband and wife song and dance team Michael Kessler & Melinda Jackson, founders of M&M American Dance Theatre and affectionally known as M&M, with their music director and Las Vegas's favorite composer Keith Thompson, and a group of talented pre-professional competition winners from Las Vegas's Innovation Youth Dance Company, will present "Broadway Love Songs, Dances & Backstage Stories," an intimate musical journey through a life lived of song and dance today, Oct. 19, at 7:30 p.m. at the Windmill Library Theatre

Emmy Award winner Sally Struthers and Broadway & TV favorite Joyce Reehling headline Love, Loss, and What I Wore at Judson Theatre Company (Morgan Sills, Executive Producer and Daniel Haley, Artistic Director). Struthers is best known for her roles on All in the Family and  Gilmore Girls. Reehling is a beloved veteran of stage and television (Fifth of July, Law & Order). Love, Loss, and What I Wore opens Today, October 18 at 7:00 pm and runs through Sunday, October 21 at the Hannah Center Theatre (on the campus of The O'Neal School, 3300 Airport Road, Southern Pines, NC 28387).  Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

M&M American Dance Theatre celebrates musical theater with the founders, married song and dance team Michael Kessler and Melinda Jackson, when they perform in Broadway Love Songs, Dances & Backstage Stories at the Windmill Library Theatre on Oct. 19.

Asolo Rep proudly kicks off its 60th season with a highly imaginative production of Meredith Willson's Tony Award-winning exuberant masterpiece THE MUSIC MAN. Directed by Tony nominee Jeff Calhoun (Newsies), this tap dancing-infused production stars legendary Broadway song and dance man Noah Racey as Harold Hill. Calhoun and Racey previously collaborated on the smash hit world premiere of Noah Racey's Pulse at Asolo Rep in 2013. The perfect family holiday outing, THE MUSIC MAN begins previews on November 13, opens November 17 and runs through December 29 in the Mertz Theatre, located in the FSU Center for the Performing Arts.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) just announced Tony Award winner Gavin Creel (Hello, Dolly!, She Loves Me) will join two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster (Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie) in a special one-night-only Benefit Musical Performance of My One and Only, the award-winning musical comedy by Peter Stone and Timothy S. Mayer with music and lyrics by George and Ira Gershwin.

It was apparent on reviewer's night of 'Hello Dolly,' which is starting its national tour in Cleveland, that many of the audience, which was awash in red clothing, had heard of the 'wear David Merrick red' to productions of this script. David Merrick red?

On November 1, 2018, The New York Landmarks Conservancy will host its 25th Living Landmarks Celebration at The Plaza.  In addition to Chita Rivera, this year's honorees are Stephen S. Lash, Lynden B. Miller, Liz & Jeffrey Peek, Thomas Sculco MD, Ruth Lande Shuman, Michael I. Sovern and Peter Stangl.  The host for the evening is Living Landmark David Patrick Columbia, and music will be provided by Living Landmark Peter Duchin and his Orchestra.  Living Landmarks Arie L. Kopelman and Leonard Lauder are Honorary Co-Chairs for the evening.  More than 500 guests are expected to attend this 25th annual tribute.

Earlier this week, The Al Hirschfeld Foundation celebrated Louise Hirschfeld Cullman at a reception at The National Arts Club in New York City. All proceeds from the event benefited the non-profit Al Hirschfeld Foundation, for which Louise Hirschfeld Cullman served as founding president for 12 years after the death of her husband in 2003. Just last night, The American Theatre Wing celebrated 101 Years of supporting strong and fearless voices in the American Theatre with a tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber's unrivaled body of work amassed over five decades. Performers included Tony Award winner and Emmy Award nominee Brandon Victor Dixon, Tony winner and Grammy Award nominee Heather Headley, Tony winner Katrina Lenk, Tony and Grammy nominee Norm Lewis, Webber muse Sierra Boggess, two-time Andrew Lloyd Webber Initiative recipient Sydney Lopes, and a mega-band that includes School of Rock alumni Evie Dolan, Ethan Khusidman, Raghav Mehrotra, and Brandon Niederauer.

Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF), the independent, not-for-profit affiliate of SDC, Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, today announced unique plans for its 2019 award evening, which will feature original choreographic pieces resulting from a special commissioning program, with the application period now open. SDCF also announced that Victoria Traube would receive a special 'Mr. Abbott' Award at the event, to be held March 25 at the French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF).

Matthew Morrison couldn't be more 'Glee'-ful about launching Bay Area Cabaret's 15th Anniversary Season on Sept. 30 at the world-famous Venetian Room at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. 'I love places that have so much history,' says the Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe nominee. Among the celebrated singers who've sung there: Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Marlene Dietrich, Peggy Lee and Tina Turner. And in 1961, Tony Bennett first performed 'I Left My Heart in San Francisco' there, which is especially apt since the Fairmont sits high upon Nob Hill, 'where little cable cars climb halfway to the stars.'
