The Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDSBoard of Trustees, at its February 22, 2018, meeting, honored Paul Libin, its president for the last 24 years, with a special $100,000 grant to The Actors Fund to create the Paul Libin Center. The center will be the New York City home for Looking Ahead, a program that helps professional young performers build community and make a healthy, successful transition to adulthood.

The 15th Anniversary Reunion Concert benefit celebration of the 2002 Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Thoroughly Modern Millie was presented last night at The Minskoff Theatre. The concert starred two-time Tony Award® winner Sutton Foster, Tony Award® winner Gavin Creel, Tony Award® winner Harriet Harris and other original cast members for a one-night-only benefit to raise funds for The Actors Fund, the human services organization that helps everyone in entertainment and performing arts.

Gingold Theatrical Group (David Staller, Artistic Director) is proud to announce the 2018 Golden Shamrock Gala will be held on Saturday, March 17 at 3 West Club (3 West 51st Street), and will honor actress and activist Martha Plimpton and actor, producer, and long-time Executive Director of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Tom Viola. This year's gala will be geared toward raising funds for GTG's full production of Shaw's masterpiece, Heartbreak House, which will run in New York's Theatre Row on 42nd Street from August 28 through September 29th.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS announced today that it is awarding $400,000 in emergency grants to organizations working on-the-ground in Florida and Puerto Rico providing immediate support to communities devastated by Hurricanes Irma and Maria. These grants are in addition to $175,000 awarded in Texas after Hurricane Harvey.
