The Actors Fund Changes Identity to the Entertainment Community Fund

The Actors Fund, the 140-year-old national human services organization for everyone in performing arts and entertainment, announced at its Annual Gala yesterday that, effective immediately, they have changed their name to Entertainment Community Fund, in order to better reflect the broad scope of industry professionals they help.

The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation’s 12th annual Broadway Belts for PFF! raised a record $475,000 in a new hybrid format on April 29. The sold-out gala at New York City’s Edison Ballroom, live streamed for the first time, is the single largest fundraiser in the Foundation’s history.
