The Actors Fund, the 140-year-old national human services organization for everyone in performing arts and entertainment, announced at its Annual Gala yesterday that, effective immediately, they have changed their name to Entertainment Community Fund, in order to better reflect the broad scope of industry professionals they help.

Tony Award-winning actress and comedienne Julie Halston (Sex and the City, Gossip Girl, Tootsie) will emcee the 12th annual Broadway Belts for PFF!, an unforgettable evening of entertainment featuring some of Broadway's hottest stars. This year's hybrid event will take place live at New York City's Edison Ballroom and virtually on Friday evening, April 29, 2022. The event is the single largest fundraiser for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF).

Broadway Cares Will Distribute Emergency Grants to Three Humanitarian Organizations Working in Ukraine

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS announced today that it is awarding $300,000 in emergency grants to immediately help the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. On behalf of the entire Broadway and New York City theater community - those onstage, offstage and in the audience - Broadway Cares is providing $100,000 each to Global Giving's Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund, the International Rescue Committee and Project HOPE.
