THERESE RAQUIN to Transfer to Park Theatre, July 30

Following a sell-out run at Finborough Theatre, where it continues until Saturday 19 April, a new musical adaptation of Emile Zola's classic French novel Therese Raquin will transfer to Park200 at Park Theatre for a limited 4 week run from Wednesday 30 July 2014 (press night Tuesday 5 August at 7pm) it was announced today. Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty sees the popular choreographer return to the music of Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky to complete the trio of the composer's ballet masterworks that started in 1992 with Nutcracker! and, most famously, in 1995, with the international hit Swan Lake. The ballet, on THIRTEEN's Great Performances, airs Friday, April 25 at 9 p.m. on PBS. (Check local listings.)

Mathew Bourne & New Adventures Celebrate 25th Anniversary

Matthew Bourne and New Adventures are delighted to announce a year long celebration of work and special events to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the company's first performance in 1987. New Adventures (formerly Adventures in Motion Pictures) gave it's first performances in the late eighties under the direction of Bourne, Emma Gladstone and David Massingham. In 1991 Bourne became the sole Artistic Director and guided the company from a small scale touring troupe to a worldwide dance phenomenon, making Bourne himself a star choreographer with an international reputation. The name change to New Adventures in 2002 brought further success, guided by co-director, Robert Noble, and a new repertoire of popular premieres, major revivals and extraordinary audience development.

Full casting is announced for Matthew Bourne's NUTCRACKER!, which returns to Sadler's Wells this Christmas to celebrate the production's 20th Anniversary with a limited seven week run from Tuesday 6 December 2011 - Sunday 22 January 2012, as well as touring extensively throughout the UK (tour schedule attached). New dates are also added, with the tour now playing Dublin Grand Canal Theatre (Tuesday 8 - Saturday 12 May 2012) and Newcastle Theatre Royal (Tuesday 15 - Saturday 19 May 2012). Christmas 2011 marks another special anniversary, as New Adventures returns to Sadler's Wells for a 10th consecutive Christmas Season.
