Paper Mill Playhouse continues its 75th Anniversary Season with another new musical The Other Josh Cohen. The Other Josh Cohen features a book, music and lyrics by David Rossmer and Steve Rosen. Ted Sperling (Striking 12, See What I Wanna See) will direct with musical staging by Andrew Palermo. Vadim Feichtner serves as Music Director. The Other Josh Cohen will feature Steve Rosen, David Rossmer, Hannah Elless, Vadim Feichtner, Cathryn Salamone, Ken Triwush and Kate Wetherhead. The Other Josh Cohen will play the Millburn, New Jersey theater through March 16. The show officially opened last night, Sunday, February 23, 2014, at 7:00pm. From December 11, 2013 through January 22, 2014, JerseyArts.com invited the public to vote for their favorite nonprofit arts groups in its sixth annual People's Choice Awards. Paper Mill Playhouse was awarded, 'Favorite Theater at See a Musical' and 'Favorite Place to Take a Kids Arts Class' earlier today. The categories ranged from theater and performing arts center, to museum and gallery, to symphony and dance company (along with many more -- there were 14 in all). Many organizations rallied their audiences to vote and in total a record number of over 12,000 people cast their ballot in this year's awards. The JerseyArts.com People's Choice Awards take place annually to honor the work of New Jersey's vital, vibrant and diverse arts organizations. Eight arts districts and 71 organizations were nominated this year-the largest amount of nominees the Awards has received since its creation in 2008-with 14 first-time nominees.

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced the appointment of Laura Green as the theater's new Production Manager and Bea Daggett, leading the historic theater's development team as Director of External and Strategic Affairs. "We are thrilled to add Bea Daggett and Laura Green to our stellar senior management team," stated Todd Schmidt, Paper Mill Playhouse's Managing Director. "Bea and Laura are experienced professionals that will enhance the work that Paper Mill Playhouse produces onstage and beyond. These appointments will allow the theater to continue to grow and thrive."
Paper Mill Playhouse has announced two initiatives to help the needy in New Jersey this holiday season. For the 17th year Paper Mill Playhouse will partner with Jersey Cares as a collection site for their winter coat drive. New and gently used coats can be dropped off during the run of Paper Mill Playhouse's production of OLIVER! through December 29. The Millburn theater will also be collecting non-perishable food items to be distributed to area food pantries for their 'Food, Glorious Food' Drive. Any person that donates a coat or non-perishable food item will be rewarded with a Paper Mill Playhouse 75th Anniversary scratch-off game ticket for a chance to win valuable prizes. Items will be collected in the main lobby at Paper Mill Playhouse, 22 Brookside Drive in Millburn, New Jersey.
Paper Mill Playhouse and Kings Fine Wine and Spirits, Kings Catering and Hilton Short Hills have invited the community to their annual wine tasting fundraiser. The 6th Annual Wine Tasting benefit will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 6:30 to 9:30pm in the Paper Mill Playhouse Gallery and Grand Lobby. This year's event will feature fine wines, distilled spirits, craft beer, artisanal cheese, decadent chocolates and a silent auction and raffle. Paper Mill Playhouse has launched its 75th Anniversary Season with the world-premiere, Broadway-bound musical Honeymoon in Vegas, based on the Castle Rock Entertainment motion picture of the same title. Honeymoon in Vegas features music and lyrics by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown(The Last Five Years, Parade, 13) and book by Andrew Bergman (director and screenwriter of the film). Paper Mill Playhouse, (Mark S. Hoebee, Producing Artistic Direct; Todd Schmidt, Managing Director), one of the country's premier not-for-profit theaters, is thrilled to announce a new arts education initiative, The Paper Mill Players Camp. The summer camp is a non-competitive, summer musical theater workshop in which students can have fun while honing their acting, singing and dancing skills. The classes will run from July 2nd to July 25th and meet three times a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. There is a morning session available from 9:30am-12:30pm for children ages 6-8, and an afternoon session for children ages 9-11. Classes will be held at the Millburn Library, and tuition is $625.00 for the four week session.

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director) has just announced the cast for its winter comedy, Ken Ludwig's Lend Me a Tenor. This hysterically funny, door-slamming comedy will feature Broadway stars and Paper Mill Playhouse favorites including: Judith Blazer (Maria), John Treacy Egan (Tito), Donna English (Diana), Nancy Johnston (Julia), David Josefsberg (Max), Michael Kostroff (Saunders), Jill Paice (Maggie) and Mark Price (Bellhop). Lend Me a Tenor will be directed by Don Stephenson. Lend Me a Tenor will run at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from February 13 through March 10, 2013. The official press opening is Sunday, February 17, at 7:00pm.
