One of the most beloved and inspirational stories of all time, this tale of love and courage is Rodgers and Hammerstein's final triumphant collaboration. Directed and choreographed by Paper Mill Playhouse favorite James Brennan, The Sound of Music will bring families of all ages together this holiday season. Leading the cast are Ben Davis as Captain Georg von Trapp, Elena Shaddow as Maria von Trapp, Edward Hibbert as Max, Chelsea Morgan Stock as Liesl and X as Rolf. The Sound of Music will run at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from November 23 to December 30, 2012. The official press opening is Sunday, November 25, at 7:00pm.

Kelly Bishop joins director Mitzi Hamilton along with Donna McKechnie and dozens of A Chorus Line cast members from 1975 through 1990. Directly following the curtain call, A Chorus Line Broadway alumni will join the Paper Mill Playhouse cast on stage as they reprise a section of the "Finale" in tribute to Mr. Hamlisch. Schools nominated for Outstanding Overall Musical and Leading Actor/Actress nominees performed at the event and award recipients were presented with an engraved crystal award from Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards partner, Tiffany & Co.
