Thanks to some nifty “mixed reality” technology from Tin Drum, Oscar-winning composer Ryuichi Sakamoto is brought back to some semblance of life in Kagami.

Following critically acclaimed, sold out runs at The Shed in New York and at this year’s Manchester International Festival, the Roundhouse has announced that Ryuichi Sakamoto’s exquisite, magical and ground-breaking collaboration with Mixed Reality pioneers Tin Drum, Kagami, will play a four week run from 29 December 2023 - 21 January 2024.

Factory International has announced the 2023 edition of Manchester International Festival (MIF) from 29 June to 16 July. Working with partners regionally and across the globe, the wide-ranging programme of original new work by an array of international artists will take place in venues and spaces around the city and at Factory International's much-anticipated new home, which opens its doors for the first time for the Festival, in advance of its official opening in October. 

Tin Drum––the world's premier mixed reality content production studio––has announced its latest collaboration, KAGAMI. Created with award-winning musician and composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, the mixed reality concert event will debut this June at The Shed in New York and during the Manchester International Festival in the United Kingdom. In 2024, the KAGAMI tour will continue with presentations including the Sydney Opera House and Big Ears Festival.

Manhattan Theatre Club last night, November 3, presented the world premiere of Morning Sun, written by Tony Award winner Simon Stephens, directed by Drama Desk Award winner Lila Neugebauer, and starring Tony Award winner Blair Brown, four-time Emmy Award winner Edie Falco, and Tony Award nominee Marin Ireland.

Using spoken text from Faulkner's 1929 masterpiece, The Sound and the Fury, the company explores the technique of stream of consciousness as a source of inspiration. The Imperfect is Our Paradise runs this weekend, September 11-14, 2014 at ODC Theater in San Francisco.
