The world premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella will officially open tonight, 18 August, resuming performances after a series of delays due to COVID-19.

Broadway On Demand has released new film stills ahead the world premiere of the feature film Burning Man: The Musical. Burning Man: The Musical is a new musical comedy about techies vs. hippies at Burning Man.

This season looks to be very exciting at the FSCJ Artist Series with Broadway productions, concerts, ballets, operas, comedy shows, dance productions, school performances and variety shows.

Vineyard Theatre members will have exclusive access to the Broadway engagements of Is This A Room and Dana H. beginning Monday, August 16 at 1:00 pm ET through Friday, August 20. Previews for Is This A Room begin September 24, 2021, with an opening night scheduled for October 11, 2021.

Beehive: The 60s Musical is a revue that celebrates the powerful female voices of the 1960s with such timeless hits as 'My Boyfriend's Back', 'Be My Baby', 'Son of a Preacher Man', and 'Me and Bobby McGee'. Told from the perspective of six young women who come of age in this enigmatic decade, Beehive takes us from their first Beehive Dance to the challenges we faced as a nation.

Now added to the programme are shows Perfectly Frank, Twice Nightly and Swan Song, with cast announcements for 2Gorgeous4U, Everybody’s Talking About Musicals, Boing…Meow! The Musical, and Broken Biscuits. Tickets are on sale for all shows. 

The sounds, sights, and moves of the powerhouse female vocalists of the 1960's will bring the Players' new outdoor Elsewhere Stage roaring to life in Beehive: The 60's Musical! 

The two-time Grammy winner first appeared on the scene in Los Angeles in the mid-1970s, and in her wake came such a wide scope of women, from country, pop and punk. It's hard to believe she collected and released so many wild icons, but she did.

Veteran Broadway actor and playwright, Stanley Wayne Mathis will present a virtual reading of his new play, Preachin' to the Choir/An Inconvenient Truth, on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 6:30pm/EST:

Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley announced today that their live and in person Stars in the House at The Town Hall will be rescheduled to Monday, October 25th at 8:00 PM, consistent with Theatre Authority guidelines.

Later adapted for the stage by Albert Hackett and Frances Goodrich, THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1955.  A subsequent film version in 1959 received nine Oscar nominations and earned Shelley Winters an Academy Award for her performance.  Also of note about this Vermont production, director Jones’s late sister-in-law Susan Strasberg was the original ANNE FRANK when the play debuted on Broadway.

Jill Marie Jones, Tina Ilev, Courtney Gaines, Starletta DePois, Pauline Dyer, Curtis Hamilton, Henry Saners, Justice Leak, Tom Shanley round out the cast.

As part of the unique concert staging, actors will be seated in a “grieving circle.” Some audience members will be up on stage as part of the group and the circle will extend out into the house seated in the round, making one big unified circle.

FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will host a Tony Awards Viewing Party, featuring a special prix fixe menu for $75, on September 26 at 7:00pm. Guests can watch the ceremony on the club’s large screens and enjoy dinner and drinks as they cheer on their favorite nominees.
