21C Music Festival commences with A Thousand Thoughts, a live documentary with the Kronos Quartet, written and directed by Sam Green and Joe Bini on December 6 in Koerner Hall.

“New Baby For Christmas” was produced by Jake Gear and recorded by Logan Matheny at Historic RCA Studio A and features performances by Kris Donegan (electric guitar), Chris Scruggs (steel guitar), Lex Price (bass), Jerry Roe (drums), Mike Rojas (piano), Eamon McLoughlin (fiddle) and Kristen Rogers (BGVs).

What did our critic think of BREAKOUT SESSION at Cleveland Public Theater? Nikkole Slater, BREAKOUT SESSION (OR FROGORSE), was commissioned in 2020 by CPT, with funding from the National New Play Network (NNPN). It was the intention of funding to have the author write a play that cast a spotlight on racism, bias and violence. Her goal was to ask, 'Can a society legislate a change of heart?' It was 'inspired by Cleveland's Consent Decree with the U.S. Department of Justice, which required the Police Department to go through anti-bias training.'

AIDA, the musical by Elton John and Tim Rice has been reworked and updated, and the world premiere is set for 23 April 2023 in the AFAS Circustheater in Scheveningen.

Glee creator Ryan Murphy was the guest on the first episode of the 'And That's You REALLY Missed' podcast, which deep dives into a behind-the-scenes look at the hit musical series. Murphy reveals that the character of Mr. Schue, played by Matthew Morrison, was originally written for Justin Timberlake and had a meth addiction.

Next Chapter Podcasts and Fiasco Theater have teamed up for a new Play on Podcasts production of Measure for Measure, in modern verse translation by Aditi Brennan Kapil. The series will be released in weekly installments, which began on October 28, and will conclude on December 9.
