SOMETHING ROTTEN! Is Coming To The North Charleston PAC

The completely original new musical Something Rotten!, originally directed and choreographed on Broadway by Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw (Mean Girls, The Book of Mormon, Aladdin), with music and lyrics by Grammy Award-winner and Tony Award nominee Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe Award and Tony Award nominee Karey Kirkpatrick and a book by Tony Award nominees Karey Kirkpatrick and best-selling author John O'Farrell, comes to the North Charleston Performing Arts Center November 11 & 12. Reserved seat ticket go on sale on Monday, September 24 at 10 AM. Tickets available at the North Charleston Coliseum Advance Ticket Office, online at Ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000. The show is part of the Best of Broadway series presented by Planet Fitness.

It was all in the family and all for the family at The Friars Club last night. La Famiglia, Mishpucha, La Familia, CeMbR, Rat Pack, Broadway and Cabaret, were assembled by producers Laura Slutsky and Jamie at the Friars for a spectacular Jamie deRoy & friends show last night. You had to be in the family or know someone in the family to get into the sold out event. Probably no family gathering had so much fun, good food, and great performances as this one did.

Marilyn Maye always gets standing ovations but few more exciting than when Tommy Tune is in the audience to rise out of his seat for the marvelous Marilyn. Tune, the New York City designated Living Landmark, had recently finished getting his own standing ovations at Encores! production of "Lady, Be Good". He was among the other celebs at Birdland last night to witness another episode in the saga of the artistry of a Marilyn Maye and Billy Stritch performance.

Airing this Friday, December 20, the performance features Erin Dilly, Jake Lucas, Noah Baird and David Scott Purdy as The Parker Family with kids ensemble Charlie Babbo, Hannah Bautista, Beada Briglia, Judae'a Brown, Michael Crispi, Alexa Niziak, Luke Spring and Nicky Torchia.
