Blair Russell Productions will present a two-week workshop of Shenelle Salcido and Spencer Williams’ new musical, For Tonight.

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, THE MUSICAL begins performances this Tuesday, July 19 at the James M. Nederlander Theatre in Chicago. The Pre-Broadway World Premiere production will run for a limited five-week engagement, July 19 - August 21, 2022.

Jack Absolute Flies Again! Originally scheduled for the Spring of 2020, it took two years, a director change, and a cast reshuffling for the show to get off the ground. It finally lands at the Olivier in a flashy production that has very little substance. One wonders how such a play ended up on one of the most coveted, prominent stages in London.

Bernard Shaw's brilliant dark comedy The Doctor's Dilemma, the first of the final trio of main season shows, begins previews July 16 at the Festival Theatre. On July 27, Cicely Hamilton's funny and prophetic Just to Get Married begins previews at the Royal George Theatre, while August Wilson's haunting Gem of the Ocean begins previews on August 5 at the Jackie Maxwell Studio Theatre. 

Improbable is presenting An Improbable Musical, a Royal and Derngate Northampton and Improbable production. Following its critically acclaimed premiere in Northampton this February, An Improbable Musical will open at the Exeter Northcott on 26 September before a limited London run at Hackney Empire from 21 October. It will then tour the UK in spring 2023, including Gulbenkian Theatre (13 – 15 April), with further tour dates to be announced.

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist RJ Thompson has released a new single in the form of supercharged indie-pop anthem ‘Feel Alive’, the follow up to previous single releases ‘Super 8’ and ‘Your Money Or Your Life’, which launched his brand new era and his first new music since 2020’s sophomore album Lifeline.

The full first season has been announced for Marylebone Theatre, London’s most exciting new venue.  The theatre recently announced its launch production Dmitry, a thrilling production by Peter Oswald, directed by the acclaimed Tim Supple in his return to London theatre.

For the fourth production in their 50th Anniversary season, Cortland Repertory Theatre presents the regional premiere of a new play based on a classic novel: Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express.

“One Big Party” was written with co-writer Fabio Ingratta, who Honey met at a songwriters’ meeting she hosted. The song features Nashville's Will Kimbrough, Fats Kaplin, Danny Mitchell, Dean Marold, and GRAMMY-nominated producer and drummer Neilson Hubbard recorded live by Dylan Alldredge at Skinny Elephant Recording Studios in East Nashville. 

Grammy Award-winner Gary Clark Jr. will return to the road for a month-long fall headline tour across North America. This run kicks off September 9 in Birmingham, AL at Avondale Brewery, visits major markets coast-to-coast, and closes out four weeks later on October 9 at Hard Rock Live in Wheatland, CA.

Cheyenne Jackson will be stepping into the roles of “The Wolf” and “Cinderella’s Prince” from July 24 through August 2 in the New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim’s beloved musical, Into the Woods at the St. James Theatre, as Tony Award winner Gavin Creel fulfills a prior commitment.

Balancing on the Edge, in association with A Girl in the Sky Productions and Thin Edge New Music Collective, will present Anthropic Traces from July 27-31, 2022 at Streetcar Crowsnest Guloien Theatre. Anthropic Traces is a large-scale production fusing contemporary music, circus, dance, theatre, mask and multimedia. 

Keith Urban’s “THE SPEED OF NOW WORLD TOUR” has added Tyler Hubbard, lead singer of the multi-platinum-selling, record-breaking duo Florida Georgia Line, who will join Urban’s fall lineup, that already includes 3x GRAMMY® nominee Ingrid Andress. “THE SPEED OF NOW WORLD TOUR,” brought Urban back to the road late last month after nearly four years.
