Jordan Alexander has joined the cast of the upcoming HBO Max 'Gossip Girl' reboot.

Adam Chanler-Berat and Tavi Gevinson have joined the ensemble cast of the HBO Max reboot of Gossip Girl, according to Deadline. Thomas Doherty and Zion Moreno have also been cast in the series.

Following a theatrical release to the USA's top markets, GVN Releasing has announced the Blu-ray, DVD and Digital release of Michael Damian's High Strung Free Dance. The sequel to Damian's dance hit High Strung, High Strung Free Dance tells the story of choreographer Zander Raines (Thomas Doherty, The Descendants franchise, 'The Lodge'), contemporary dancer Barlow (Juliet Doherty) and innovative pianist Charlie (Harry Jarvis, 'Proven Innocent', 'Dixi') amid the backdrop of New York's most-anticipated new Broadway show: Free Dance.

There's a new Dance Movie, which opened nationwide Friday, October 11th, that's sure to advance the genre in popularity.  In the last few decades “Dirty Dancing,” “Footloose,” “Flashdance,” “Saturday Night Fever,” “Staying Alive” and more recently “La La Land” all caused quite a stir when they hit theatres, and many of them are still quite popular today.   “High Strung Free Dance” and it's predecessor “High Strung' (2016) has everything you could want to see and hear in a film about dance, music and dancers. Written and produced by professional dancer Janine Best Damian “Solid Gold” and numerous film and television appearances, and her talented actor/singer/director/composer/husband Michael Damian (Joseph in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”/Broadway; 18 years appearing on “The Young and the Restless,” among many other credits for directing, as a vocalist and creating soundtracks for films he's also directed). This latest film is one out of 13 films he has written and produced with Janeen, as well as directed; ”Marley and Me: The Puppy Years,' the “Flicka” franchise, and more.

American Dance Movement, a non-profit organization centered on supporting dance and performing arts, and the historic United Palace of Cultural Arts, the fourth-largest theater in Manhattan, are partnering to present the debut screening of the highly-anticipated film, a?oeHigh Strung: Free Dance,a?? at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7. 

Disney Channel's 'Queen of Mean' from the triumphant hit movie 'Descendants 3' surpassed 100 million views in just four weeks since its release and hit #1 on the YouTube Music Video chart (U.S.) and #1 on Vevo's 50 Top Trending Videos. Last week, the song rose to #5 on the Spotify Global Viral Charts after reaching #49 on the Billboard Hot 100. The Disney Channel Original Movie premiered Aug. 2 and has since debuted in Latin America and Southeast Asia markets and will premiere in Europe beginning next month.

The three 'Descendants' titles in the hit Disney Channel Original Movie franchise, one that's engaged the imaginations of kids and tweens around the world, are at the center of a programming event, 'Descendants 3 Labor Day Weekend Takeover,' SATURDAY, AUG. 31, through MONDAY, SEPT. 2, on Disney Channel.

In its second week, the Disney Channel Original Movie 'Descendants 3' continues to capture imaginations and build momentum across television and music platforms, furthering Disney Channel's legacy of storytelling through music that engages kids and families. Thus far, the movie has reached 15 million Total Viewers including 3.7 million Kids 6-11 across 12 telecasts on Disney Channel. Young 'Descendants' viewers repped their block, making the premiere of 'Descendants 3' (Friday, Aug. 2, 8:00 p.m.) cable TV's highest-rated telecast in over two years among Kids 6-11, Tweens 9-14, Girls 6-11 and Girls 9-14, according to L+3 data available today.

'Descendants 3,' the third movie in Disney's global smash franchise, is set to premiere on FRIDAY, AUG. 2 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.

'Descendants' arch-nemeses Mal and Uma will face-off in an epic underwater showdown when 'Under the Sea: A Descendants Story' premieres FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 28 (7:50-8:00 p.m. EDT/PDT), on Disney Channel. Dove Cameron and China Anne McClain reprise their roles as fan-favorite characters Mal and Uma, respectively, in this live-action short-form special filled with dazzling visual effects and high-energy music and dance. Immediately following the Disney Channel premiere, 'Under the Sea: A Descendants Story' will be available on the DisneyNOW app (www.DisneyNOW.com) and Disney Channel VOD.  

Cheyenne Jackson ('American Horror Story') has been cast in Disney's 'Descendants 3,' in the role of Hades, the nefarious underworld ruler from the 1997 Disney animated musical comedy film 'Hercules.' Jackson, who began his career as a theatrical actor including starring roles in Broadway productions 'All Shook Up' and 'Xanadu' among others, starred in multiple seasons of 'American Horror Story' and has had roles in over 40 television series and films. The trequel is set to begin production shortly for a scheduled debut in 2019.

Beautiful and prim Audrey, the daughter of Princess Aurora 'Sleeping Beauty', is back and actress Sarah Jeffery is set to once again play her in 'Descendants 3' the highly- anticipated third movie in a trilogy about the teenage sons and daughters of Disney's MOST INFAMOUS villains. 'Descendants' (2015) and &'Descendants 2' (2017) were each the #1 cable movie for the respective years among Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14, and both rank among Disney Channel's Top 10 original movies of all time. DENVER- The American Library Association (ALA) today announced the top books, video and audio books for children and young adults-including the Caldecott, Coretta Scott King, Newbery and Printz awards-at its Midwinter Meeting in Denver, Colorado.

Live + 7 Day ratings for the premiere of Disney's 'Descendants 2' made it the #1 cable TV telecast since the original 'Descendants' (July 31, 2015) in Total Viewers (10.9 million), all major youth Kids 2-11 (5.2 million/13.1 rating), Kids 6-11 (3.9 million/16.4 rating), Tweens 9-14 (3.5 million/14.4 rating), Kids 6-14 (5.3 million/14.8 rating) demographics and Adults 18-49 (3.0 million/2.3 rating).

The Disney Channel Original Movie DESCENDANTS 2 reached an astounding 13 million Total Viewers with an unprecedented simultaneous premiere (Friday, July 21, 8:00 p.m. EDT) on Disney Channel, ABC, Disney XD, Freeform, Lifetime and Lifetime Movies as its telecast on Disney Channel was Friday's #1 scripted TV telecast in Total Viewers (5.3 million).
