 Nancy Manocherian’s the cell theatre and Nightclub Cantata LLC, by special arrangement with Concord Theatricals, have announced the cast of Elizabeth Swados’ 1977 breakout sensation Nightclub Cantata, a provocative, eclectic and heralded theatrical creation rarely seen since its inception decades ago.

TheatreWorks New Milford will premiere CJ Hopkins' political satire, The Extremists, directed by Francis A Daley and featuring local actors Hugh Tucker (Oxford) and Fred Rueck (Ridgefield).

Palo Alto Players continues its 91st season with the Peninsula premiere of' ALLEGIANCE. This powerful Broadway musical, inspired by the true-life experiences of TV/film actor and social media icon George Takei (Mr. Sulu on Star Trek), tells the story of one family's extraordinary journey during the Japanese American internment of World War II. The company has assembled an all-star cast of 20 local Bay Area artists under the direction of Vinh G. Nguyen to bring the story of ALLEGIANCE to the stage.

 TheatreWorks New Milford will host three performances of Barrymore by William Luce as their first fundraiser of the year on Friday and Saturday April 8 and 9th at 8:00 pm and Sunday April 10th at 2:00 pm.

The TheatreWorks founder retired in 2020 after being awarded a well-deserved 2019 Regional Tony award and given his long history with Paul Gordon, he's back at the helm of this sumptuous, meticulously crafted production. No stranger to TheatreWorks, Gordon received a Tony nomination for the Broadway musical of Jane Eyre, then moved onto the world premiere of Pride and Prejudice at TheatreWorks in 2019 and Austen's EMMA.

Amas Musical Theatre and The Amas Lab will present private industry readings of “Settle Down,” a new musical with book & lyrics by Gabe Caruso and music by Sangwoo ‘Simon’ Lee. City Theatre Company, Pittsburgh’s home for contemporary plays, has announced the details of the theatre’s 48th season of bold, new works, beginning in September 2022. City Theatre’s second season post-pandemic shutdown will feature five plays with first-time and returning artists, plus special events.
