The Green Room 42 Presents stage and television performer, Andrea Wolff, in her new cabaret, I Can't Trace Time, a passionate and whimsical look at the arc of life. Featuring a signature mixture of pop and Broadway, Andrea Wolff's I Can't Trace Time features a master entertainer who has been widely lauded for her strong comic timing, offbeat and compelling characterizations and superb taste in music. Prolific, award winning British Composer and Musical Director/Arranger, Jude Obermuller will lead a quintet and Special Guest Artist, guitarist Sean Harkness will appear. The show is directed by 2018 MAC and Bistro Award winning writer-actor, Dan Ruth. The Green Room 42 is located on the fourth floor of YOTEL NYC, on Tenth Avenue between 42nd and 41st Streets . Travis Moser, a staple of the New York City cabaret scene, has release a new album of songs in tribute to the women who have inspired him along the way.  His latest EP titled Mhe Midtown Sessions celebrates the iconic divas of Broadway and beyond that have influenced Moser's recording and concert work to date.

On Today, August 28, Times Square Market will be filled with the original music of Broadway singer and Billboard Artist Leslie Becker. The free concert is part of the Broadway Buskers Concert series created and hosted by Ben Cameron, which features original music from Broadway talent.

OX is digging up tunes and mayhem in a fundraising event tonight at The Duplex for the NYC premiere of the dark musical comedy by award-winning composer/lyricist/playwright Kit Goldstein Grant. The evening is entitled OUT OF THE BOX, and begins at 7:00 PM.

After selling out their first four performances, Trans Voices Cabaret returns to The Duplex with an even bigger cast of transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming performers today, August 18th, 2018 at 9:30pm, with direction by Donnie Cianciotto and musical direction by Anessa Marie.

Every fall, playwright Steven Carl McCasland has made it a tradition to put down the pet and get himself back on stage. And so, with his trusted sidekick and Musical Director James Horan, Steven has made The Duplex a second home of sorts. This September 7th at 7:00pm, McCasland will salute the late Elaine Stritch with a new show, titled 'Not At Liberty'.

International vocalist and dancer, Ronny Dutra, will be at The Duplex Cabaret Theater on September 8 at 7pm for an encore of his acclaimed musical presentation, THE WAVE. This autobiographical tale starts at his humble roots in Brazil and transports his audience to the fast paced world of competitive dance in New York City and finally to his current career as a cabaret performance artist. Cabaret patroness Madame Mathieu has selected two-time Tony Award nominee Bob Stillman (Grey Gardens, Kiss of the Spider Woman) and MTV's Paul Iacono (The Hard Times of RJ Berger, FAME) as guests of honor at the July 26th edition of Bistro Awards Critics' Pick Madame Mathieu's Soiree. The duo will be joined on the program by a distinguished group of emerging artists from a variety of disciplines.

From August 27 to September 4, August Strindberg Rep will perform Strindberg's 'Creditors' in a new translation by Robert Greer as part of the Dream Up Festival at Theater for the New City, 155 First Ave.  This masterpiece from Strindberg's naturalist period is rarely excelled in its unity of construction, dramatic tension and acute psychological analysis, but it is far less performed and anthologized than 'The Father' or 'Miss Julie.' During an afternoon in a lounge at a seaside resort, a revenge is played out as a credulous artist has his mind poisoned against his wife by her former husband. Translator Robert Greer directs.

FIORE BARBINI is bringing his newest cabaret show, LOSING MY MIND, to 53 Above Broadway in New York City on Wednesday, September 5th, 2018. The show features musical direction by Yasuhiko Fukuoka. Fiore made his NYC cabaret debut in October 2018 with his first solo show, I'M STILL HERE, at 53 Above Broadway. He brought the show to Don't Tell Mama Cabaret and performed sets at The Duplex and The West End.
